41 pts right now for VC, and it's OT. He's gone off lately, hopefully he can continue to play this well.

This is the Vince that we are all used to seeing from his early days in Toronto, and just reminds us on why we all compared him to the likes of Kobe and Mac. I'm glad Vince is playing well again. 43 points and 14 rebounds is ridiculous.

Re: Official New Jersey Nets Thread

Another new addition to the Nets coming next year.

http://nypost.com/sports/nets/39583.htm

Marv Albert doing the games will be pretty damn cool, and will add alot more excitement to each game. But, I will def miss Ian Eagle. I don't see him sticking around to do a few games next year, he is just too good to be given a few games here and there. But I am excited to have Marv as the Nets' play by play man. Hopefully, they give Tripucka the boot.

Tough Lost to both the Spurs and Lakers as we were both up in those games comfortably, but couldn't finish either. Vince I think played terrific in this game and was basically unstoppable. Bruce Bowen know he couldn't stop him, so he had to do something to help his team. He got Carter thrown out, If anyone's to blame I think it would be Bruce Bowen, everybody know about their history in the past. I think Bruce is a dirty player, but I will give credit where credit is due as the Spurs woke up and played their basketball.

Nets Notes

Billy Thomas signed for the rest of the season

I think if Carter didn't get ejected, that there was a good chance that the nets would've won the game. He was seriously on the fire and was aiming for way over 50 pts.

Re: Official New Jersey Nets Thread

The last game was a tough lost even though we came out shooting the lights out and playing solid d, but the offense can't always come from kidd and carter. We really don't have that third option, mercer has been doing his part, but it's not enough. I think next year with Jefferson coming back all that will be settled.

Tonight's game is a must win, I always say who can come out in the third with a run always wins the game, the Nets need to stay close in this game or we could be in for a long night. Clifford Robinson, the Net's newest addition should be in uniform tonight and should be the first foward off the bench for Frank. Robinson is known for his solid defense and his outside shooting and with Vince Carter drawing double teams, uncle cliffy's outside shooting could come in handy.

Nets Notes

Rumors have it that Kidd want's to play with Kevin Garnett

My take on this rumor is that Jason should relax right now because playing with K.G. dosen't say he will win a championship. I also think these rumors will end quickly because if Kidd is ship to a contending team, it will not be Minnesota. One reason for that is Rod Thorn wants young players who can contribute in the future for us and Minnesota dosen't have that. I think Kidd should chill because New Jersey could be a dangerous team in the east next year with a 4 who can come in and make an impact.

Re: Official New Jersey Nets Thread

The Nets are looking more like a team thats headed to the draft more than a team who wants to be a playoff team. I can't understand how we play good against Cleveland, Sacramento, Detriot, Philadelphia, but lose to teams like Toronto and Milwaukee. The Third quarter always gives us problems since the allstar break. Frank needs to make better adjustment at half. Here's to hoping Duncan dosen't play against us in San Antonio or we're done.

Nets Notes- Brian Scalabrine off the injured list
Billy Thomas placed on the injured list

Vince Carter 17+ 20 point games as a Net

Re: Official New Jersey Nets Thread

Nets have been playing solid Basketball after being smacked by Miami last saturday. imo we can make the playoffs as far as 6th seed if we continue to play well. My question is to other Nets fan or NBA fan in general can the Nets make the playoffs?
