Plus throwing a more recent team into the mix would be very interesting

Thank you
Thanks for your input, but I just dont like doing recent teams because there is no way to rate players fairly against the historic teams. Which guys off of 2014 TCU are going to be superstars like Tomlinson? There's just no way of knowing. I'm a big believer that great teams from 1985-2005 would whip a lot of the current top 10 teams. Some of those past teams were loaded with Seniors and Juniors that had started 25+ games, but I looked at the 2014 TCU offense and there were just 3 Srs in the two deep offense. Not saying they arent a good team...just they dont have experience, but who knows 10 years from now we might look back at that team and say they were loaded!! I just think lots of people today put too much stock in the high point/yard totals and dont realize how much rules have changed to allow it in todays game. You can always sub out any of the teams with teambuilder teams if you want certain ones...I might even do it too.

Well said Carl....

I prefer Players that have been out of school for awhile to be considered a Classic Roster file.

It just gives the rosters a better old school appeal as opposed to using lots of teams and players you can fire up with any recent NCAA game.....

My favorite are players from the 90's the era I grew up loving College Football...

But I love to read about and watch older players/Teams from beyond that time just to learn more about the great players that suited up before that era....

I was making my case for the 2010 Tcu team not the 2014 team. I was just saying the 2014 team could probably beat the 2000 Tcu team. But I would like the 2010 team NOT the 2014 team. Thank you for the quick reply

That was a great team with Dalton, Kerley, Cannon, and Carder....always pulled for them and Boise to get a chance with the top teams. Maybe I'll do another roster in the future with teams I left off of this one(and some newer teams). I'll try to finish the 2000 TCU team in the next couple of days, let me know what you think.

Thank you
What fun is it playing with a team from this year or a few years ago in a "classic" roster file though?

You're welcome

To me it's about the best squad of players from each team. And if we're gonna talk classic then might as well roll out the 1930's Tcu teams huh? But it's about "Who's number 1?" The best college football team. And being one of the few Tcu fans here I wanted to represent my team. But that's just my opinion.
