Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

SN,

I replayed the first game of my Dynasty with the final set and I was even more satisfied than when I played before. I'm gonna post the stats later but it was a 48-28 loss to UK at their place.

Locke (UK) rushed for like 220 and my RB less than 10 yards lol...but my O Line are all rated below 70. Still I protected the ball with only 1 fumble and had a decent passing game. I love these sliders.

Everything to me was right on target...penalties, time of possession, drops, fumble, accuracy. I'm officially NOT changing sliders at all now. Stickin with these to be fair to my future players goin after school records.

Probably what made me most happy was that, though Locke absolutely killed us...I'm confident in the tackle slider you set because my best tackler had like 12 tackles amongst all the missed tackles. That made me feel like I just need to recruit better tacklers to stop the run.

Hey everyone,

The sliders are almost perfect and I know I'm contridicting my post above but I AM thinking about changing and leaving INT at default for both HUM and CPU. Has anybody tried this with this set???

Reason being...I'm a former DB and it seems like there are just not enough INTs...well too many dropped ones I should say. I want a ball up for grabs to be caught by the defense if its a bad throw. I wanna concentrate on making good throws instead of relying on a low slider. I think it'll show a difference too on having a really good DB. As it is now, it seems like everyone's only gettin 1 or 2 picks in a game.

Won the national championship with PSU against Oregon 23-17. It was A-/A/B+ vs B/B+/B.

Their defense was terrible, I was able to move the ball efficiently and was very lucky to stop LeMichael James after getting killed by Trent Richardson and Herron earlier in the year. I was up 20-3, then threw a pick on a screen for a TD, then got a FG before they scored with 2:13 left. They kicked it deep and I was able to run easily to seal the game. Their D-Line was all high 70s low 80s vs my offensive like of high 80s/90s, so that felt good to dominate with the stronger line.

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

Played 1 game so far with these sliders and...

Great job SN and thanks for all the work you put in. Only changes I mad were my run blocking(at 45 because that is my weakness) and my run D at 35. Played a Great game of football.

Played a good game against Pitt. I won 24-6 but it was closer than that. 7-6 at Half.

The only problem I have is that the the CPU cant seem to get anything, goning through the air. But this was even at default with my pass coverage at 40 and CPU at default. 2 games with me as Penn State
against Pitt, and 1 game with your sliders. They are lucky to get to 100 yards passing.

Should I give it more time or a different matchup. Kinda worried it is just the way the game plays like Madden last year. Did u go lower with Human pass coverage and get eaten alive in testing?

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

I had an amazing game with these sliders last night but I forgot to record the stats. My only tweak is to drop CPU HB ability to 55. I was playing a dynasty as Tech, playing at Texas. I won 46-45, after going for a 2 point conversion with 3 minutes left to make it 43-42, then Texas marching down the field to the 33 and kicking a 50 yard FG to put them up by 2 with 50 seconds left.

I went into 5 WRs, and on the first play, threw a hot route streak against man coverage in the slot. Got behind the defender and to the 30 on this play, but then took a sack on the next play with 30 seconds left. Threw an out for 12 yards on 2nd down to make it 3rd and 5, stopping the clock. Ran a stretch to get the ball back in the middle of the field, but fought for a 1st down at the 20 with about 18 seconds left. Ran two consecutive HB dives to get my cruddy Freshman kicker in better range in the middle of the field at the 12.

So I have about a 29 yard FG to win as time is running off the clock. He hooks it, but it bangs off the inside of the right goalpost and falls through. Victory! 46-45.

Some stats I remember. For me, Doege threw for 489 yards, as my running game was absolutely non-existant except for an option I ran for a TD out of the Wildcat (Auburn playbook). Eric Ward had 10 catches for 180 yards and Austin Zouzalik had 100 yards and a 70 yard TD.

For Texas, their backup QB threw for 250+ (Gilbert was out thankfully) and Tre Newton ran for 200. I could not stop the run in the second half and the AI picked up on this and ran it down my throat. I really enjoyed that even though I couldn't stop it.

These sliders are legit.

Re: *** SN's All American Sliders ***

I decided to use these penalty, Interception and Running sliders, as I was having too easy a time running the ball unless using just awful teams.

I can't report on much as I only played one game, WI (me) vs Western Kentucky (CPU) to see if I could still run the ball vs a weak team. Results were good, I had Clay run 35 times for 349 yards and 6 TDs. I was worried the sliders would hamper the run too much, but they do not, it seems. Next I need to test against a good team.

Western Kentucky had about 16 carries for 65 yards (4.1 ypc)

Before the sliders, I was easily running with WI against FL, then tested with Michigan ST. and still ran too easily against FL.

I have not implemented the passing sliders or kicking sliders, as I am happy with the passing game and kicking game as is, so far.

Thanks for these sliders.

PS - I play 8 minute quarters.

It may be your skill level, being capable of holding CPU to low passing yards. You can easily make it harder by lowering HUM Pass Coverage. Just keep dropping it lower and it will become harder as CPU's WRs will get open more often.

I used to have it on 25 and wow, CPU passed ALL OVER on me.

CPU had 5 picks on me though. I've manged to get 2-3 picks. It usually comes down to User Picks so you have to fight for the ball yourself. If CPU does it for you, it'll be too easy with 4-5 INTs per game.

That's just a philosophy I have. You can raise it to like 35/50, rather than 15/30, if you want to have more INTs.
