Re: Pass Coverage Slider

played another game with the sliders at the same level as above. this game was against hawaii. my qb went 8-26 85 yards. with pass coverage and int's at 0, there seemed to be absolutely no difference in gameplay. if anything, it seemed as if the cpu was mocking me by knocking down EVERYTHING. i wasn't forcing passes and i was even taking some coverage sacks trying to let the receivers get open. nothing seems to work.

Re: Pass Coverage Slider

I was in the process of getting sacked last night when I hit "Y" to try and get rid of the ball, and I saw the DBs react to that even though the ball never left my hands, as I was sacked.

They actually moved to go to where the ball would have gone, had I actually thrown it (with their backs to me, of course). As it was, I didn't even wind up to throw it, I was already on my way down and just pressed Y.

Re: Pass Coverage Slider

dang...i came to this thread hoping to find a good # for this slider to get them to cut out some of the psychic db/lb stuff. i had a game last night where i was playing with uconn(b ovr) vs buff(d ovr). i went 20/33 for over 230yds. 1td 7INTS!!! none of them were forced...they were ALL good on the money passes that had a leaping cb do the over the shoulder catch from madden 10. very frustrating!! add my picks back in and im throwing 27/33 and over 300yds and some more TDs cuz a few were in the redzone, which is the way anyone would expect a B team to play a wack D team.

if its not the cb making these ridiculous INTS on any throw over 15yds, then its the LBs getting 10tips to my 3tips with a much less superior LB core. i have pass cov 45 and int 35 on AA diff. this is unnacceptable.

i dont want the game to play so loose on D like ncaa11, but i dont want the cpu to play me with a D team like it has all deion sanders and ray lewis' either. im just trying to find a balance where the D's react more human like and play according to their ratings. so far it seems the game has turned EVERY TEAM regardless of talent into pass coverage masters.

as far as deep ball, i dont abuse it. im taking sacks waiting for ppl to even get open 15yds out in this game on AA diff. right when i see a guy break open, im prolly taking a sack. i dont have enough time in the pocket to even go that deep normally. but i have noticed on occasion a beat bump and run on either sideline wr, it seems they get lil to no help over the top as many are describing. if no bump and run takes place, its pretty good coverage and is nowhere near abuseable in my experiences. i think some guys need to change something with their pass blocking/cpu pass rushing. this will cut down on time in the pocket and will take away most of the oppurtunities to even go deep. i go deep(35+ yd pass) on avg maybe 3-4 times a game.

Re: Pass Coverage Slider

Hopefully the patch tunes down the easiness of the bomb and the aggression of kicking 60 yard field goals by the cpu.

*Some of you guys have evidently never played safety in real life... you should react to the reciever before the qb throws the ball many times a game. Just pending your assignment and instincts.

canīt wait for this. The long pass is 50%

also i add, make the Sliders range wider. I canīt be playing heisman with QB acc at 0 and still completing passes after passes. We should be seeing tons of overthrows on this setting.

i agree with you to a point, having played safety myself, but a human will sometimes react INCORRECTLY to the qb. sometimes the qb will bait you into following one receiver, while he's winding up to throw somewhere completely different. the cpu doesn't REACT, it KNOWS where you're throwing. there's a difference.

Re: Pass Coverage Slider

I've played a few games with the pass coverage on 0 for both HUM amd CPU, yes 0, lol. I see no difference between 0 or 50. Maybe the slider is broke? I am also playing without the patch. The sliders i use are a mix of my own, secelites, and silent natures. I played a game against Akron(D) and used SC(B), they were leaping and knocking down balls like crazy.

If they werent. you would be completing 80% of your passes.

There are no miss throws.
Im not going to get tired of saying this. Ea fix qb acc. I know it can be done.

Realistic overthrows with human db
