Since the "DB Glitch" is based on "Aggressive" play for the CPU, do you feel that DPI @ 0 makes them less aggressive / more balanced?

Currently, I have them both at 50 and have a hunch that, no matter what the setting both OPI / DPI need to be the same to have "equal" (aggressive versus passive) "Ball skills"...

Thoughts?

Thanks!
The sliders trigger tangled up animations 10 yards off the line of scrimmage (holding for defense, and I guess offensive interference for offense). I would set OPI to 90-100 so you get some penalties against the offense since there aren't any holding calls this year. It also makes them less effective since it isn't them throwing the defender off they actually get tied up and make them less effective. DPI slider might make them better since they wouldn't get tangled then fall behind, but I am not convinced it wouldn't also make them better by tying up a WR. DPI and OPI have nothing to do with pass coverage or aggression of defenders only that animation coming off the line.

I think this is why you and I are a click off on int slider. At 20 I saw far below season and game averages for INT's. but at 25 I see perfect amount ( using my PI set up) with yours both at 100 like your slider OP, it makes sense that your INT's are easier to come by with "less tangled" players.

Interesting:

I have DPI @ 25 (I decided to keep all penalties in the 25-75 range, to not bork anything with "big" moves, etc) and OPI @50...

I'm on Heisman (both O and D) with both QBs ACC @ 10 / PBK @ 40 / CTH @ 40 versus a Hum PRC @ 80 / INT @ 20 (total "default" 100)...CPU PRC @ 70 / INT @ 30...

Both QBs are good for a solid stat line...

55-65 Comp % / a couple to few sacks / a couple few picks / a few DFLs, etc...

With this setup, HUM picked EVERYTHING @ 25 (regardless of D CTH / AWR / Etc and at 20, they get dropped by the lower CTH guys for a change)...

I also found at CPU INT @ 25, I NEVER threw a pick...

At 30, I do...

There's SOOOOOO many "moving parts" (Level / Thresh / Game Speed / HFA / Roster / Sliders / Penalties / In Game Adjustments (HUGE IMHO for both HUM AND CPU), that comprise each of our personal "House of Cards"...

It's really a balancing act between ALL those elements, that CAN add up to a "Bingo Moment" where it all starts to look / feel right and produce (as close to possible) proper stat lines...

With the help of a half dozen threads in this section, I feel that (for me), I've just about hit it...

BOOM

Re: Roughing kicker slider undoubtedly controls running game

I'm always been very hesitant to move sliders extremely high or low. With that being said, dropping the DPI to 0 undoubtedly helps the Man to Man Coverage. It's almost too good. Almost to the point where the DB's are running routes before the receiver. At least we can adjust from there though.

Is anyone noticing if this has any effect on the zone coverage because that's where the coverage problems are...

I play on AA. So I would say that dpi at zero is perfect, as evidenced by the 49 to 67% completion numbers I'm seeing- based off QB overall.

Example- Akron QB went for 51% with one INT.

West Virginia went for 64% 1 int. playing against my Uconn team with slightly above avg db's

MAYBE for the heisman guys, a dpi setting of 10-20 range would alleviate the 'psychic db'

I had to go with DPI @ 25 / OPI @ 50 when I moved to Heisman...

The coverage in Man was pretty "psychic DB" (IMHO) at 0...

Unfortunately, the zone coverage is still lacking at ANY setting...

I do really appreciate your insight about dropping it in the first place...made a HUGE difference...
