In the offseason I was offered an extension or I could apply for the Penn State head coaching job. What should I do?

I would take the Penn State job. Not often you get offered to be a HC of such a prestigious school.

Nevermind the coach for Temple got the job so I could go for the Cal job or the Temple job. Thoughts?

I definitely wouldn't take the Temple job since in my eyes thats not that much of an upgrade. I would consider Cal and try to take over the state of California.

QUARTERBACK CONTROVERSY IN LAWRENCE, KANSAS

After my third season as OC at Florida State I figured it was time to take my coaching talents to the HC level. A National Championship under my belt bolstered my resume. Va Tech offered me the HC job since Beemer retired but I declined. KU offered so I took it wanting to rebuild a program. I inherited several good players. During offseason recruiting I landed the #9 rated QB 79 overall. I also scheduled Florida State for the upcoming season.

I gave the starting nod at QB to Montell Cozart who's a lot more mobile than Darling. But Cozart is injury prone. My first game against Memphis I won 21-10 I took control early. Cozart finished 14-21 192 yds 0 TD and 0 INT with 144 yds on the ground on 14 carries and 2 TD.

2nd games against UL Lafayette I was down 21-17 at half after losing Cozart in the first quarter. I scored 35 unanswered to gain control going on to win 52-37. Darling dazzled that's for sure. My running back also had a good game. Stats coming.

Jordan Darling 15-19 269 yds 2 TD 0 INT, 5 carries 24 yds
Montell Cozart 3-5 52 yds 0 TD 0 INT, 5 carries 37 yds
Colin Spencer 23 carries 218 yds 4 TD (tied school TD record.)

Oh yeah, I also beat ULL to win the BCS game. Who do I start next though? Cozart or Darling?

Re: How is your dynasty going

I'm starting Week 13 of my West Virginia dynasty. I was on a 5 game winning streak after starting 1-4. I beat #2 Texas in a snowy game in Morgantown, however, I lose a 3 win Kansas team on the road. I'm now 3rd in the Big 12 with a 5-3 record and a 6-5 record overall.

My QB Childress is 3rd in the nation in passing yards with 3303. I'm not much of a running team however my runningback Sims has 20 touchdowns. I love throwing to Alford who's my slot receiver. He's got over 1000 yards receiving. i have thrown to at least 11 different guys during the season and 8 of them have touchdowns.

My defense needs work. We give up close to 400 yards total. I wish I could fire Joe DeForest. He is an awful defensive coordinator. I've been trying to get cover players but they keep signing to different teams.

Besides my 90 OVR, my 2nd best WR was 65 OVR and my tight end is 56 OVR! Ugh.

West Virginia won the national championship vs Miami.

Finished with the 117th worst recruiting class, a huge let down compared to last years class. The best I got were 2 stars and 1 stars.

Year 5 will be the last before I 'take over as coach'. The team is lead by 82 OVR QB Kyle Scott (SR) and 74 OVR HB Matt Young (SO). I actually have a decent Offensive line for the first time they are all 70 OVR+. My defense has improved a lot as I have a bunch of guys that are 70 OVR+ but still has some huge weak spots with guys in the 60 OVR area. I don't expect much from this season.
Were you simming the recruiting as well?
