Re: How is your dynasty going

Question for you guys that run the Air raid or real real pass orientated offenses. How do you recruit your Rb's, Wr's and TE's.

How many rb's do you normally keep and how many Wr's. With the offense I run now I tend to have 4 rbs and 1 red shirted guy. Normally try to keep about 6-7 Wr's because I only run 3 or less receiver sets. They all see action for the most part. And I actually become thin there every now and then with an injury or 2.

My guess with a air raid you almost would need 8-10 wr's due to all the passing routes.

Re: How is your dynasty going

The Auburn Tigers 2033 season is underway with mixed results.

The Tigers (99) won their season and home opener against Kentucky (99) 14-10 in a defensive struggle. The Wildcats scored with 1:48 remaining to take a 10-7 lead only to see Ryan Bobo (SO; Moody, AL) 2 yard scamper with :45 left give the Tigers the win. The Bobo touchdown was setup by a 60 yard reception by WR Michael Church (SR; Greenacres City, FL) from QB Jason Ervin (SO; Jupiter, FL) on a perfectly executed play action pass.

Ervin came into the contest after starter Tim Cross (JR; Alexander City, AL) was knocked out off the game in the second quarter.

Post game examinations revealed an abdominal tear that will keep Cross out of the lineup for two months - a HUGE blow to the Tigers (94v84) championship aspirations.

I guess it kind of depends. I run a HUNH style system, some games it's 70-80% pass, some times it's 30-40% pass. Here's how I will try and stock my skill positions. I like to go 4 or 5 RBs, only 5 if I don't have a capable FB. I'll move a Power HB to FB once I sign them, or a smaller Receiving TE to move to FB. I always keep 3 to 4 TEs, so that I can carry 6 WRs MAX, because the Tight Ends can fit in on a few plays without missing TOO much.

Mostly, Formation Subs helps me try and balance that everyone gets 4 snaps minimum (I don't count or anything, just a guesstimate,) but running the no-huddle, until I'm held for a loss or an incomplete pass, those players from that formation sub will stay there. So it kind of keeps everyone fresher for me as well.

it took Coach Andrews 23 years to win a National Championship at Oklahoma, then he only needed to wait one more year to win his second. After Oklahoma's 3rd straight Red River Rivalry win, the Sooners are poised to challenge for the threepeat

Spoiler

Continuing from my last post finishing up the 2016 Season as the new Head Coach at USC. Had a pretty fun season here, we did end up losing 3 games (Loss to Alabama, Washington, & UCLA) I feel we can compete for the PAC-12 Championship 2017 possibly a National Title.

2016: USC- (10-3) Won Holiday bowl over Iowa

National Champions: FSU (14-1) beat Florida (12-2) Someone needs to beat FSU.. the ACC is too weak it seems.. Wheres miami

Re: How is your dynasty going

Just finished my first season as the Texas Tech HC. I played a relatively weak schedule but had a few wins against tough teams and other teams got some major upsets to jump me into the title game.

I credit most of my success both to my defense and senior receiver, Mike Hall. He didn't have the stats but he was basically my security. If I needed a first down on 4th, he was the guy.

Here's my schedule for the season (2019)

Illinois (4-8) W 52-14 Just trying to learn my team in this game and I managed to get things to work pretty well.

Texas State (3-9) W 56-30 I scored a couple TDs late to make this look more impressive than it was. My defense couldn't stop them and it got frustrating. They threw for 371 Yds.

at UL Lafayette (8-4) W 42-7 My defense recovered really well from the previous week and held them to 0 points after their first drive.

Oklahoma State (4-8) W 38-10 Again fell behind early but the defense stepped up and my offense had a huge second quarter.

at #2 Baylor (9-3) W 31-19 Baylor had some late turnovers that sealed the deal. This was a nice win for my team, leaping us to #15 in the polls.

at #13 Texas (6-6) W 28-7 My defense played out of their minds in this game and held them to 257 Yds and 44% on 3rd Down.

TCU(6-6) W 38-20 I got down early behind some turnovers and poor defensive play. I worked my way back into it in the 3rd and padded the lead with 14 4th Quarter points.

Kansas State (6-6) W 51-24 Outstanding game by my QB as he had 129 Yds YDs on the ground

at #4 Oklahoma (10-2) W 20-17 Played from behind the whole game and took the lead on a last second FG.

at West Virginia (7-5) W 45-28 There were a combined 35 points scored in the 4th Quarter of this one as we continued to win.

Iowa State (5-7) W 58-0 Mike hall caught 3 TDs and we couldn't do anything wrong as we cruised to an easy win.

at Kansas (1-11) W 38-31 I got out to an early 14-0 lead but a turnover and 2 TDs later it was tied. My QB went on to throw 4 INTs and I scored 2 TDs and converted 2 2-Pt conversions in the 4th to win the game.

BCS National Championship
#2 Nebraska (12-1) W 41-16 I came in sporting the #2 defense in the country and we shut down the run all game. Their only points came when they were able to find a deep ball. Mike Hall had 2 TDs in his final game.
