Re: How is your dynasty going

Wyoming HC:

2018-19 (says 2016 on the game but whatever) - 7-6 (5-3): We got absolutely crushed by NIU at home in a game we lost 55-34. Three 1st quarter interceptions define tell had something to do with that. We then had an absolutely terrible game against FCS SE at home where we lost 31-24. We finally won a game at New Mexico 17-7 in a conference game where our team played great defense. We then had a great game at Eastern Michigan in a game we won 42-13. After that we came back and lost a conference game 31-21 against Nevada. Nevada started the game off 21-0 and it was very hard to come back. We then back-to-back conference games; at Colorado State 14-7 and at home against San Diego State 21-17. After that we got absolutely crushed 41-7 at 6 USC. Our next game was an absolutely heartbreaking 17-13 loss to Boise State, where Boise State scored two touchdowns in the last 15 seconds of the game. We came back from that with a 24-13 win over UNLV. We then lost a very close conference game at home against Utah State 30-21. But then we came back with a 21-14 win against Air Force which put us at 6-6 on the season and 2nd in the MWC Mountain division. This put us in the Armed Forces Bowl against LA Tech which we won 21-7 in a game where our defense only allowed their quarterback to go 10-22 with less than 150 yards. Kentucky finished 12th in the Nation (9-4).

Redshirting the 6'5 guy at TE.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Just started a new Dynasty yesterday with some teambuilder teams for GA Southern, App state and Charlotte. I took out Army, Akron and 1 other team I can't remember off the top of my head. I also made the conferences the way they are currently(minus the teams I switched with the teambuilders)

Recruiting is gonna be a challenge to get used to seeing as I'm used to NCAA 13's recruiting.

I played my first game of the year against GA Southern and snook out with a 31-28 win on a last second Field Goal.

Next week we head to Bill Snyder Stadium to take on the #18 ranked Kansas State Wildcats.

Re: How is your dynasty going

So I've got a bit of a dilemma ans I'll let y'all know how it plays out. On my Georgia dynasty where I just won the natty (third in a row, seventh overall in ten seasons) I made two saves for the upcoming season and took the Texas job in one of em.

I've expanded both the SEC and Big XII to sixteen teams.

Texas pros: 99 overall offense headed into the season; two senior QBs means I have to work hard at recruiting; get to recruit Texas more exclusively; get to play in the Red River Rivalry, as well as against KSU, TCU, OK State, Baylor; I have the Big XII set to rotate bowls so if I win and don't go to the natty I have a chance at playing in the Sugar, Orange, or Fiesta; I don't have to worry about changing up my UGA recruiting; can watch what the CPU does with UGA; could potentially play UGA; the only reason I've started to like UGA in real life is this game; best running back is a freshman; receiving corps was loaded enough for me to move a 90+ overall oversized (6'7, 233) receiver to TE to be my Hback.

Cons: I'll miss the red shirt junior QB and RB UGA has returning; I'll miss getting to use my junior FB at TE; I won't get to play in my new look SEC, which is loaded; the new big XII (n-CU, KU, KSU, Mizz, Neb, Iowa, ISU, CSU ; s-Tex, TTU, TCU, A&M, OU, OSU, SMU, Baylor) only has one returning ranked team (OU); have to watch what CPU does with UGA; might end up playing UGA

UGA pros: I have a returning RsJr QB with 93 speed that threw for 2500 yards last year; my RSJR RB that ran for 1031 as a sophomore backup; using my JR FB as a TE; the new SEC (w-Bama, Auburn, LSU, Miss, MSU, UGA, GT, Arkansas; e-Vandy, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Florida, FSU, Miami, S. Car, Clemson) in which six teams are ranked; trying to four-peat; I guess technically slightly more realistic

UGA cons: new conference notwithstanding, it's gotten boring, stale, redundant; need to limit myself regionally in recruiting

Georgia opens up at Arkansas and has top five Navy and Northwestern on the schedule between number seven Vandy and the end of year stretch with Bama, Auburn, and GT

I don't have the Texas schedule generated yet.

It's incredible how enamored I am with the potential to lose a game. Spoiled by success. What do y'all think I should do?

Re: How is your dynasty going

I decided to stop the Wyoming Dynasty since I realized that I really only enjoy the game when I play as Kentucky. So I will be starting a HC Dynasty with Kentucky.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Just started a dynasty with Michigan. We have had an up and down year and currently sit at 4-5 (1-4.) We lost to teams like Minnesota and Indiana but managed to somehow beat #1 Nebraska with our backup QB after Devin Gardner got out for the season. Our running back by committee has worked really well with Thomas Rawls, Derrick Green, and Justice Hayes.
