Re: How is your dynasty going

middle of year 1 with rutgers (3-0) using a custom spread offense playbook.

found 2 qbs, 1 athlete
Im leading for 2 qbs, and 3rd for athlete.

Hows player progression over seasons?
The 1 qb is a 78speed, 77 acc with 84 throw power and 74 throw acc. The other is a tad faster at 81speed but throw is 81 and 71 accuracy.

the athlete is my main target: could be a corner or a qb. 93 speed, 89 acc, 86 Throw power and 82 throw accuracy

Enjoying this game more than I did when I purchased it 2 years ago.

Player progression is really over-powered. If you check out Hellisan's dynasty, he has a system that he uses called "Work Ethic" where he randomly assigns a number from 40-99 and that affects how they progress during the offseason.

Progress over the season doesn't stick. My 72 qb made it to 78, and was back at 72 when the offseason started. He progressed to 76 in training.

Re: How is your dynasty going

In a classic at Camp Randall, the Wisconsin Badgers took down the Alabama Crimson Tide 31-30.

Wisconsin's offense was paced by running back Kevin Diggs, who carried the ball 28 times for 208 yards and 2 TDs. His second score of the game put the Badgers ahead with under a minute to go, and sealed the victory for the No. 3 team in the nation.

With his career performance against Alabama, Diggs now has 6 rushing TDs on the season and is averaging over 160 yards rushing per game. Given those gaudy numbers, he's entered the early discussions for being a Heisman Trophy finalist.

Wisconsin is now 3-0, and the Badgers have their B1G opener against Ohio State up next.

Re: How is your dynasty going

I just started a Dynasty using a TEAMBUILDER team I created called Columbus State Cougars... A community college in Columbus OH. I made them a 1* team, with C-Academic prestige, C-Campus Lifestyle, and then everything else is a D-.... Also the Cupcake rosters... I wanted to give myself a hard challenge in a complete program journey. My stadium is the Sugar Bowl, so could potentially be an epic Stadium with a ton of fans, but for now, I hardly have any fans... Until I can get my Stadium atmosphere up. So when I made this dynasty, I decided to do something different... Instead of editing the conferences, sliders, and everything, to make it "realistic"... I actually kept everything DEFAULT, except it's on heisman, and coach progression is SLOW. I will not spend any coach points on anything... recruiting or game management, to make for a more realistic challenge recruiting. I swapped my team in for OLD DOMINION... putting them as an independent, ranked #125 preseason. My ultimate goal is to get them to the level of Notre Dame as an independent. I just started year 1, and I started 0-2, at CAL, and at North Carolina... Actually, I was happy with the way my team fought in both games, then I went on a 4 game winning streak, against 2 FCS schools at home, at Maryland(big upset), and at home against Ball State.. Right now I stand at 4-2. not bad for my first year. I'm excited to see how far COL ST can go! I'm also excited to see my stadium grow, which, I hope it does, and I hope the game will visualize more fans in the stadium, because it sucks to see no fans... If for some reason, it glitches and doesn't visualize my fans, once I get my Stadium Atmosphere up, that would actually suck terribly, and I would be extremely disappointing, and would probably restart haha

Re: How is your dynasty going

My first year schedule is an F... I decided not to overwhelm myself with too many hard games, for the chance to actually make a bowl game, and start nicely... I play 7 games at home, and 5 away, hosting a whopping THREE FCS teams, lol.

ALSO, scheduling wise, I plan to integrate BIG TEN teams in my schedule in the years to come, because of the location of my team... I guess there would ultimately be a chance of me joining the BIG 10 as well

Re: How is your dynasty going

I was thinking of starting a new dynasty and am struggling to decide if I should take a lower level team in the game or just go Team Builder and create a cupcake school and build them up. I know a lot of the pros and cons between the two, with going the Team Builder route having more cons than playing with a school already in the game.

I am pretty handy with the editor and know how to go in and use it to manipulate the dynasty accordingly, but I think creating my own school and starting my own traditions would be pretty cool with players that don't really exist.

Any thoughts on what I should do? If you think I should take a lower level school already in the game, which do you think and why? There's a distinct possibility that I would document it here at OS to keep it going since it looks like this is the last NCAA game for quite some time, so maybe a team that isn't involved in a long standing dynasty here on the boards. Any input is welcomed!
