Re: How is your dynasty going

Last game of my third year with UNC Charlotte, I used their original team builder roster when they first became a FCS team.

So I have been building a first-year FCS school up, here is the results.

First year 3-9, Had a interesting first game where I only lost to a ranked LSU team by a touchdown. But I also was blown out by a FCS team.

Second year 7-4, really started figuring out the offense "spamming our only good player" I don't usually spam my dominate player, but I thought this was realistic since my whole team was below 74 overall and he was 84. Ended up with Austin Duke catching for 2600 yards 24 touchdowns, 4 rushing touchdowns 200 yards rushing, fifteen Field goals made, 2 Kick return touchdowns, one punt return touchdown and two passing touchdowns. If this isn't a ironman Idk what is played QB, HB, WR, PR, KR and Kicker

Third Year: 11-2 Won C-USA ranked #25 Won two early games against ranked teams and got beat Syracuse, Proceeded to win eight straight. I matched up with UTSA in my last game of the regular season they were fighting for a spot in the C-USA Championship against us. Underestimated them badly, threw five early interceptions and put in my back-up QB in a attempt to comeback we ended up losing 28-17. We were matched up against them two weeks later in the C-USA Championship and it was a great game, early in the game I scored a touchdown on a 20 yard pass to my TE then UTSA kicked two field goals, on the return Austin Duke took it back 107 yards to score and we began blowing them out 48-21 going into the 4th. I figured we had won and began simming the last quarter, UTSA comes back and is down 41-48 with 40 seconds left and the ball on the their 2. I jump back into the game and they make it to my 30 with 6 seconds left and throw up a heave which I ultimately pick off. Currently in the Liberty Bowl and ranked #25.

I realize this is a pretty fast ascension but I figured I play in the C-USA and Im like 2-5 against actual ranked teams so far. The most enjoyable thing is watching the crowd go from almost no one when we were 3-9 to packed to the max at 11-2. Im torn between keeping up this dynasty or switching to App State. I feel like it should get interesting soon because most of my team is Juniors and Seniors from the Orginal Team so I will have a pretty much new team in two years or so.

Re: How is your dynasty going

I already posted about my online dynasty here but long story short we're in year 5, everybody started in the AAC and could leave whenever they wanted. The settings are as tough as I could get them so nobody has even been to the ship until last year where Houston had a loaded offense and went 14-0.

Out of our 5 users Oregon State is coming off a 4-8 year, Minnesota is coming off a 5-7 year, USF is coming off a 9-4 year, UCF went 9-5 and took a job at Georgia, and Houston went 14-0 and took a job at Pitt. He hadn't even won the conference with Houston but his team was just crazy this last year.

In his first year with Pitt he played my #21 ranked USF team in the opener. Our recruiting is tough too so my team isnt stacked at all BUT we do have a few playmakers. Anyways our user games are rarely shootouts but we had a great game to start the year so I saved the highlights.

I recorded it on my phone so dont expect youtube quality but it was a huge win and if I can have a good season Im trying to finally get a good job offer and leave after this year

Re: How is your dynasty going

I'm playing with KU (trying to turn them to a competitive team instead of bottom dweller) and looking for ideas for playbook.

I prefer a run first type playbook that helps setup the passing game. I love a good TE to throw to, so prefer a playbook with TE formations. I love doing read option but i know that can be pretty cheese against the CPU so not a requirement.

Not wanting to do a custom playbook, just hoping someone might have recommendations for fun playbooks?

I also joined the C-USA with my Sonoma State team. I made them all seniors and simmed the first year while I was OC at Idaho. I got the job there in 2014, and had a roster of 25 scholarship players (mostly CPU recruits from the 2013 season) and walk ons. I spent 2014 as an independent, then went C-USA in 2015. So far:
2014:4-8 (I think 2 were FCS wins)
2015: 9-4 (C-USA Champs, 7-2)
2016: 12-2 (C-USA Champs, 9-0)

I then moved to MWC (closer geographically, and better competition)
2017: 13-1 (MWC Champs, 9-0)
2018: 12-2 (MWC Champs, 9-0)

I finished #3 each of the last two seasons, with BCS wins. At one point, I had 20 consecutive home wins (lost to South Carolina in 2018), and I had a 15 game winning streak. I moved to the Big 12 for a tougher challenge in 2019. I went 34-2 through the C-USA and MWC, with something like 28-29 conference wins in a row. So I know just what you mean about being able to do well in the lower end conference, even if it was quick lol. Just getting through the offseason and I can start in on it.

What do you want? Bad P5 team, bad team in a minor conference?

If you don't plan on using the editor for anything throughout he dynasty I would say create your own school, make them a cupcake and write your own history.
