How is your dynasty going

Head Coach, Florida Gators, 2017
Week 8: Vs Missouri
Aside from an early int, their defense was complete trash. We put up over 500 yds and 45 points of offense, with franks going 30-38, 394 yds and 3 td. We gave up 33 points however, as our defense continues to struggle a bit. Gotta work on it going forward.
Record: 4-2
Next Week: BYE

Head Coach, Florida Gators, 2017
Week 9: Vs 10Georgia (NS, Everbank Field in Jacksonville, FL)
From the beginning, it was complete dominance. I was only able to rush for about 50 yards all game, but I sure made up fr it in the passing game with almost 500 yds. Franks had a career day, going 21-25, 455 yds and 6 td. The Dawgs has only 3 fields goals up until a garbage time touchdown against my 2nd string defense. 44-16.
Record: 5-2
Next Week: Vs Vanderbilt. They’re unranked and 3-6, but I wouldn’t over look this game just yet.
Recruiting: I have 4 commitments, and they’re beginning to all pour in. Soon enough they’ll add up.

Re: How is your dynasty going

F ND. Not that I much prefer pulling for Texas. Nice season there. Good luck in the next one. Always fun building programs up.

I recently reactivated my 2014 Georgia dynasty with the ridiculous run of success (like 10 national titles, 8SEC, 1ACC) and the geographic conferences. I like this recruiting class I'm pulling in but I'm gonna put myself on three years of -15 scholarships/year to limit some of the depth. I'm about to have a bunch of oversigning.

My spread I triple option offense is killer. Just took most of the pistol out. Beat FIU (ACC south) 70-21 running for 623 yards on 53 carries and throwing for 177 on 17/25.

It's fun playing the game after such a layoff.

Re: How is your dynasty going

I only play 4 of the games it's part of House rules I saw someone post and really makes it more fun then Steamrolling everyone. Problem right now is the Jayhawks just aren't good enough on Defense I'm trying to build them but it's a slow Go. In the 6-6 season I was 1-3 in my played Games. I beat Air Force who was #12 at the time, Lost to West Va, Oklahoma & Texas all because my QB struggled defensively I couldn't stop a leaky faucet I was just out manned talent wise but 2023 looks like it should be better.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Jayhawks open 2022 with a loss to #9 Tennessee 31-24.
The Jayhawks looked poised to leave Rocky Top with a major upset over the #9 Vols. Leading 14-10 at half the Jayhawks came out in the 3rd Quarter and scored to go up 21-10 but from there on the Vols turned up the pressure and 1st year QB Rs Sophomore Jordan Foreman struggled to find his rhythm throwing a costly interception in the 3rd Quarter so the Jayhawks went to relying in their newly implemented spread option run game. The Vols scored and scored again against a Jayhawks defense to bring the score to 31-24 with 2:30 left in the game. The Jayhawks looked poised to march into the end zone but then Foreman started getting confused on his reads. With 38 seconds left a fumbled late pitch by Foreman doomed the Jayhawks comeback bid. Coach Hill said this of his teams effort "We played tough today couldn't be happier with our team effort should have been a W but self inflicted wounds will kill you if you don't handle business, We'll be better in 2 weeks for our showdown with Mizzou. This is Just one game but I believe this team can be special we will win we're just inexperienced at key positions."

Can you post or private message me what sliders you're using and your other house rules? You seem to get really good game results and I've been searching around for a new set to use

These are the sliders found them on a different message board

As far as imposed rules on myself I can only play 4 Regular Season Games any Conference Title or Playoff Games I can play. Recruiting I can only recruit players who are top 3 interested in my school, players that I'm more than 700 points behind on I must remove, I must use half my board for Offense the other half Defense, Also cut off allowing CPU to add/remove players from board. Redshirting I only do Freshman unless I'm gonna do a graduate transfer out of my program. I have to schedule atleast 1 non-conference ranked opponent & it has to be a Home and Home. Playing the game just don't run money plays. Not sure how it'll work with a good/ great team but while I'm trying to build teams these are working great.

How is your dynasty going

Kansas host #2 Oklahoma in upset of the ages!!!
The #2 Sooners rolled into Lawrence looking to continue their Undefeated season but the upset minded Jayhawks had other plans. Trailing 16-14 before half the Jayhawks looked to take a lead into the locker room but a poor decision by QB Jordan Foreman ended that threat. Leaving the Jayhawks down by 2 16-14 at Half. In the 3rd Quarter the Jayhawks & Sooners exchanged body blows but Kansas' TD came at a price losing their starting QB with a concussion. The Jayhawks trailed 24-21 after 3 quarters but dug deep and found the strength to tie the game 24 all with 4:28 left. Both teams would try to get in Range to strike in regulation but failed. So it was off to Overtime. The 1st OT Kansas drove right down field to go up 31-24 but Oklahoma would answer matching the Jayhawks to tie it up at 31. In the 2nd OT Oklahoma would have their say first but willed on by the Jayhawk faithful Kansas' defense made their stand forcing the Sooners to settle for a 21 yard FG and a 34-31 lead. With Kansas on the march and the Jayhawk faithful in a frenzy you could almost feel the Sooners life leaving the stadium and then on a 2nd Down run Redshirt Senior Running Back Wesley Dickens applied the final nail to the Sooners coffin scampering 7 yards to pay dirt for a 37-34 2 Overtime Victory that the Jayhawks needed desperately. After the game Wesley Dickens was asked about the victory. " We put our heart and soul into this game it's just a great feeling knowing we could give this crowd the ending they deserved today. They've supported this season and we weren't gonna let em down today" Coach Hill had this to add "We came out today and really fought our tails off, after the way things ended in Tennessee we didn't wanna go out like that again and Today we showed the Jayhawk Nation what we can do. I'm just so proud of the heart and effort these special young men showed today. Now we gotta go keep our season moving in the right direction. We got 7 more Regular Season games, we must finish strong."
Next up for the Jayhawks will be a battle with the Texas Tech Red Raiders when they visit Lawrence but many believe a showdown in 3 weeks at TCU followed by the Texas Longhorns visiting Lawrence could define the Jayhawks season.
