Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

I don't like that thing about all of the classes having weapons able to take out vehicles. It was more strategy to make sure you had guys as the Heavy so they could take out vehicles. Infinite ammo has me worried also. People are just going to end up firing rockets everywhere.

i still play BF2 (sometimes) and the servers are still packing them in! although the only maps that are being played constantly is strike at karkhand...and that gets boring real quick

I loved Battlefield 1942 but I really loved the Mod Desert Combat for it. That mod imo was more fun than Battlefield 2. Some of the maps were absolutely ingenious, I loved the one map where the US team had to get into a town w/ blackhawks and take it over, Classic.

both games are auto-purchases for me. I actually remember the Map in the 1943 trailer from battlefield 1942. I would be in heaven if they released Battlefield Vietnam for the 360 with updated graphics and maps.

IIRC, weren't the helicopters almost impossible to pilot?
