Well EA is just the publisher on this, DICE did the development.

I forgot a few things. How many mines does it take to bring down a tank? and if you die do your mines stay?

Got BF 2 again or xmas, and just bought the Vietnam add-on. What can I say that hasn't been said already. This game and the expansion together is just about as fun as you can get!

I've always wondered why mines stays after you die, but C4 doesn't?

Possibly because mines are drop and armed ... where as C4 needs a trigger pull by the player, which makes it more of a risk to use, and requires more strategy.

And technically in real life you die, there is no way you can hit the detonator, where mines are always there and armed. Would be nice if others can pick up and use the detonator though in your death.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Why didn't I think about that?
