I like the layout better in BC2, but it is not too much of a change.
Thanks Deft. I may have to pick that up. I never played it before.

just to add real quick....the movement in BF isn't as "twitchy" as in the COD series. It might be a touch difficult at first,as you really have to have a good bead on someone, and the main difference (imo)..is that in BF,you actually have to anticipate your enemy's movement, especially if your using the sniper class....

I HIGHLY recommend this game (BF:BC) in preparation for BC2....the maps are huge in comparison to COD,and if you're able to squad up with friends, this game is a jem,as it actually takes strategy to complete your objectives...especially if your teammates are different classes (demo, assault, recon, specialist) as each class has it's own identity and gadgets that aid to the squad.

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced

I never to play the demo for this, but after reading all of the positive feedback and good news in this thread I'm definitely looking forward to it. The last Battlefield I played was 1942 on my old PC which was my first venture into online gaming and definitely an addictive game to say the least, lol.

Like DirtyJerz though, I never played the first version on next-gen and saw in a couple posts after his recommending picking it up. And with that I had just a couple questions: First, with the recommendation to pick up the first one, which system would you suggest getting that one? Secondly, which system does everyone plan to pick up BC2 for?

Thanks,
The Battlefield: Bad Company Noob

I've only got a 360,so naturally I'll be getting BC2 on that.
If you do pick it up for the 360,I'll be sure to add you to my friends list,as I mentioned earlier...with a good squad this game is an absolute blast.

Also,if you do pick up the 1st one (BF:BC)...I would be more than happy to add you to my friends list,as that way I could help you out,and hopefully explain the in's and out's without you getting frustrated....because if you're use to the COD series, you may have trouble at first adapting to BF....but once you do (it doesn't take long) everything will become 2nd nature.

Same. This and The Show on the same day...my gosh my spring/summer will be complete. BC was probably one of my favorite shooters.
