NEWS UPDATE - NOVEMBER 28, 1993

El Gigante did indeed begin a feud with The Undertaker and has derailed the Deadman's rise to the top of the card, winning the majority of the matches he has been a part of.


Arn Anderson and Ric Flair continue to trade the World Title between them but Sting is emerging as a very real alternative if he can ever get the push.


Paul Roma turned on Arn Anderson and joined Paul Orndorff in a tag team who are calling themselves Pretty Wonderful.


Kevin Sullivan and Axl Rotten have won the vacant ECW Tag Team Championship. Jimmy Snuka was able to see aside Paul Diamond as a challenger for the promotion's top prize in Eastern Championship Wrestling at November to Remember.


Ted DiBiase is being positioned very strongly despite his chrornic back issues. It may be an issue of Teddy getting ready to put over Shawn hard before leaving.


Those close to Warlord figure it's just a matter of time before he leaves the WWF. He may make it through Wrestlemania at this point.

NEWS UPDATE - DECEMBER 28, 1993

It's almost impossible to figure out the WWF are going with for title shots at the Rumble (or for that matter, who might be tipped to win the Rumble). Bret Hart, Ted DiBiase, Warlord, Macho Man, and The Undertaker are all believable challengers for Shawn Michaels World Title.

In WCW it's a much different story as The Turner corporation have chosen to double down on tradition and have the feud of '93 close the year out at Starrcade, with Flair vs Arn once again topping the card. While there are some who may accuse the old guard of politicking for their spot. It has been WCW's feud of the year, without question.

It's being said that Sting had a choice of a United States or Tag Title shot and opted for the latter with Sting/Rude vs. Austin/Pillman in what may end up stealing the show at Starrcade.

Eastern Championship Wrestling had a holiday supercard with Snuka retaining his world title against Abdullah The Butcher, and Badd Company def. The Masters of Rott (Rotten/Sullivan) to become new tag champions.

There are rumblings of a big backstage fight between WCW Booker Eric Bischoff and tag champion Brian Pillman. We will have more on this as the story unfolds.
