The quarterfinals are set and a London derby headlines the round with Barcelona and Bayern also stirring excitement.

Tottenham have won both meetings against Chelsea this year by a score of 2-1 and have won all 8 London derby games (two against Chelsea, West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Arsenal).

Chelsea have struggled in the past few months in league play but continue to play well in the Champions League, knocking out Ajax in the previous round by a score of 2-0 aggregate. Chelsea won their group going unbeaten in six games and finishing about Napoli, PSG, and Dynamo Kyiv.

Barcelona are the favorites to win the Champions League this season. Barca won their group with a 5-1-0 record over Tottenham, Olympiakos, and Lyon. Barce then eliminated Manchester City 4-2 over two legs. Barca are also dominating their league with a 17 point lead over rivals Real Madrid for the title.

Bayern Munich are showing they have a right to the trophy as well with a dominating display over Arsenal. Bayern won the first leg 4-0 and the second leg 2-0 for a 6-0 aggregate. In the Bundesliga, Bayern are 13 points ahead of Augsburg for the league lead.

Napoli finished behind Chelsea in the group stage but were able to squeak out a win over Liverpool in the knockouts. Napoli won the first match 3-1 and lost the second leg 1-0 but did enough to advance. In Serie A, Napoli are currently in 4th place and 8 points off the third-place spot.

Real Madrid have had a fortunate draw previously, beating Dinamo Zagreb 5-2 on aggregate. In league play, Madrid is having a miserable season with 68 points after 32 games. Currently 17 points behind Barcelona for the league lead.

Zenit and Benfica have had similar paths, both advancing past the knockouts by way of the away goal rule. Zenit knocked out PSV while Benfica shocked Inter.

All roads lead to PSG vs Manchester United in the Europa League final. PSG has won the French league but Manchester United will need Europa League success to secure Champions League football next season.

What we know
We know three teams that will be in the Champions League next season; Manchester City, Tottenham, and Liverpool have secured their spots. Arsenal are close to securing the fourth spot but still need to win one match in their last four. Manchester United can earn a 5th Champions League spot for England if they win the Europa League.

Chelsea have secured a Europa League spot with the thinnest of hope for the fourth Champions League position if Arsenal cannot find a win. At the bottom of the table, Brighton is finally relegated with only two wins so far this year.

Tottenham fans will be delighted with the draw against Zenit as they avoid Barcelona for another round. Fans in Spain are in for a treat with two of the most hated rivals with face off over two legs.
