Re: 2007 ALCS: Boston Red Sox vs. Cleveland Indians

This Red Sox team is on fire right now while the Indians are as well. However I think Boston is a better all-around team: better starters, bullpen, defense, offense, etc.

It hurts me to say this but I think the Sox completely shut down the Indian offense and sweep. Maybe the Tribe can sneak in a W in Game 2 w. Carmona against Dice-K, so 5 games max. At this point in time I think Boston is quite a bit better than New York and Cleveland is going to struggle much more. The Boston bats won't go as cold as the Yankee bats and their pitching will be 10x better.

Ugh, two Boston WS titles in four years? Please Tribe step it up!

Got tickets to Game 4 of this series. Hopefully, Byrd will have his magic one more time!

That would be insane, but it isn't happening.

I'm going to pick the Indians in this series especially since I picked them to win it all in my unbiased prediction.

Looks like yet another year of exciting LCS games.

Boston in 5. I'm sorry but Boston's pitching staff and bullpen is far superior than Cleveland's. Outside of Sabathia and Carmona their starting staff is nothing impressive. And Joe Browski is garbage. Boston has the best staff in the majors and best bullpen in the AL. Boston should not have any problems with Cleveland. Don't be surprised if it's a sweep.

I will be very surprised if it's a sweep.

Looking forward to watching this series. If I had to make a prediction, I'd say Boston in 6, but you never know. Should definitely be entertaining.

Yankee fans were just as overconfident. I can't wait until the Tribe takes out the other Evil Empire.
