Yep trade everyone but Gillies or whatever his name is. But I don't think Utley is going to waive his rights.

I expect some action on the Phils part due to MacPhail being part of the operations now. He doesn't take official control until the offseason though.

The Phillies have at least one guy they can't trade on the roster and that's Frankel. He's the future from an offensive standpoint.

Anyways, there's a report out saying the Jays are actively pursuing Shark. I'd be completely against that move. I'd rather they be creative and try to pry Cueto/Chapman from the Reds.

Just curious to see what the Dodgers do. We have a big time need for another starter but not sure who we could acquire.

Yeah. Franco isn't going anywhere that's for sure.

Re: 2015 MLB Trade Deadline

Thanks for the correction on Franco's last name there.

I've heard some talk that if the Phils don't get what they're demanding for in regards to Hamels that they will most likely wait til the offseason or the deadline next year to trade him.

Reddick is pretty much as good as gone in Oakland. Probably won't be too costly either since the relationship has soured.

Definitely getting a starter. Hamels is probably a no go as well as David Price. We aren't parting with our top guys and we can get Price in free agency.

Names to watch. Matt Garza, Kyle Lohse, Scott Kazmir, Jesse Chavez, C.J. Wilson, Johnny Cueto, Mike Leake, Jeff Samardzija, Mat Latos. Tom Kohler, Clay Buchholz, Alfredo Simon, Ian Kennedy, Jon Niese, Dillon Gee, etc......

Brandon Beachy is expected to come off the DL July 17th so that will be another arm in the rotation.
