I like the AJ Hinch hire. He seems like good fit for where the Tigers are. I don't expect them to make any long term commitments this offseason; they're probably looking to 2022 for competing.

I guess Jack McKeon was too old for White Sox consideration, so they went with the youth movement a younger La Russa brings to the table. if La Russa winds up bringing a world series championship to his third team, maybe he thinks the Hall of Fame will enshrine him again.

I don’t blame LaRussa; he’s a baseball lifer and I understand not being able to stay away. I blame the White Sox for giving him the opportunity.

Of course, he may go out and surprise us and have a lot of success. I just don’t expect it...
