Houston in 5 (I honestly think we are going to let either our second home game slip away, or first road game, then refocus after)

Golden State in 4 (If it isn't obvious no Kawhi is more inpactful than no Steph in this series when you have another MVP to lean on)

New Orleans in 7 (I think Jrue Holiday really stepped up this year and Rondo is still a wizard in the playoffs, plus Anthony Davis man)

Utah in 6 (Russell Westbrook, and Paul George are really good at basketball. But the lack of Andre Roberson is going to show in this series, and Adams can't defend 5 players at once. Rudy Gobert literally transforms this team from lottery bound to a legit defensive stopper)

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread

The Spurs haven't really had Kawhi all season, so him being out really isn't a factor. This is just a 47-win team. I'm hoping the Spurs can win one or two against Curryless Golden State, but I'd probably go Golden State in 5, with the Spurs winning one in San Antonio.

Aldridge has been absolutely fantastic this year and should probably be in the top 5 in the MVP conversation. If he can ball out this series and Manu can rekindle some of his play from last year's WCF against GS after Kawhi got injured, then maybe the Spurs can win a couple games.

I'm at the point where I really don't expect to see Kawhi out on the court in a Spurs uniform again, so him being out is meaningless to me.

If the Spurs miraculously knock off the Warriors I don't think I would even mind if the Raptors made the finals.
