Man. Switching Patty Mills on Kevin Durant is not how you win games.

The Spurs don't have enough offensive talent to scare Golden State, unfortunately.

I hope they can steal a game or two, but anything above that is asking too much of this roster.

I don’t know if I can take seeing Patty Mills or Bryn Forbes guarding Durant another possession...

Imagine if McGee played this disciplined and under more control than he did in his first 6-7 years?

Aldridge has been absolutely fantastic this year and should probably be in the top 5 in the MVP conversation. If he can ball out this series and Manu can rekindle some of his play from last year's WCF against GS after Kawhi got injured, then maybe the Spurs can win a couple games.

I'm at the point where I really don't expect to see Kawhi out on the court in a Spurs uniform again, so him being out is meaningless to me.
Agreed, bro. Kawhi, Tony and possibly Danny Green's time in a Spurs jersey is probably coming to an end.

Unless Tony has an amazing resurgence in this series then I don't see how he is a rotation player going forward.

Also, it is pretty pathetic that Kawhi can't even give his teammates - some of who he won a title with - moral support on the bench. Just stop "rehabbing," bull****ting us and support your guys if you even care (I doubt he does).

Yeah, I don’t even want Kawhi back on this point. His reputation has been ruined for me. I hope the Spurs find a way to offload him this offseason. This situation has been unacceptable. To not even show up to support the team in the playoffs is a joke, as Van Gundy and Jackson have pointed out. Not that I expected any more of him, considering his attitude all season.

I hope the Spurs can get some draft picks for him or something, though I have to wonder how much other teams would be willing to trade for him given his antics and potentially chronic injury.

Tired of hearing about kawhi. He aint even played most of the season and its all people can talk about?

If anything it just shows how donezo this team is with or without him.

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread

It’s too bad Parker never developed a reliable three-point shot. Even his mid-range shot is lacking these days. It makes him kind of useless now as he’s lost his speed and gotten older. It’s unfortunate Ginobili is outplaying him despite being five years his senior.

Obviously, the injury last year isn’t helping, either.

And Gasol has been a disappointing signing, too. He’s just too old now. Wish the Spurs could have gotten him when he went to the Bulls instead.
