Only a fan of a NFC team would argue that the NFC stacks up against the AFC top to bottom.
From top to bottom, the AFC is better, no doubt. IMO, the Bears, Cowboys, Saints can beat anyone in the AFC anywhere. That's just my opinion.

To be fair, the Saints are 1-3 against the AFC. Anything can happen in any given game. The Texans could beat anyone in the NFC anywhere.

Texans are 0-4 against the NFC. Again the AFC trumps the NFC, but I think the bigs in the NFC can beat the bigs in the AFC.

I'm just pointing out that anything can happen. Nothing is a sure thing, I wouldn't bet my life on any NFL game. The top NFC teams having a shot at the top AFC teams doesn't really prove anything.

The whole argument starts when NFC fans get upset that the NFC gets no love in power rankings, gets overshadowed by the AFC, etc. NFC teams deserve this treatment. They've certainly earned it this year with their collective 22-38 against AFC teams.

This isn't getting anywhere because we agree, lol.

I'll end it by saying that Romo is undefeated against the AFC.

That simple.

The fact that one NFC team can potentially win the Super Bowl doesn't make up for the conference descrepancy and doesn't change the fact the AFC from top to bottom was clearly the more superior league this season.

The NFC won 13 straight Super Bowls from 1985-97. The tables had to turn eventually after years and years of drafting in the top 10.
