Again, purely my opinion, and something like that is obviously subjective. But I have seen all of those guys play a lot, and that's the one position I do have a pretty good knowledgebase on. So I'd say it's a semi-educated opinion.

How do you define dangerous after the catch?

I define it by gaining as many yards as possible, and I do believe Welker led the league in YAC. So, yes. I do believe that.

I also recall him catching the ball pretty short many, many times, and busting through several people to gain that 1st down on 3rd over and over and over and over. He's as dangerous as they come.

Are we going strictly on stats? 6 games vs. the AFC Least and playing in the offense he does lends itself to padding YAC stats. Not to mention the Bellicheck's propensity for running up the score on crappy teams.

Patriots also threw more than anyone. You would have to see a YAC per catch.

I would look up stats, but **** it.

Out of the top 50 in rec yds last year, only 3 players had a lower avg yds per catch than Welker & one of those was a RB. 6 TE's had a higher avg which included Chris Cooley & Owen Daniels.
