I agree he isn't the same caliber of athlete as Urlacher, but Lofa's first step is the quickest in the league at the Mike. It takes a very special, smart, instinctive player to take over quarterbacking the defense in his very first mini-camp. I can honestly say Lofa is the 2nd best defensive player the Seahawks have ever had (behind Cortez Kennedy...although Kenny Easley might have an argument).
Lofa Tatupu is quite possibly the best cover 2 ILB ever. Guy has the best instincts for that position in that defense I have ever seen. When it comes to getting depth and playing the passing lanes, he's every bit as good as Urlacher probably better.

I like Nick Barnett, Lofa Tatupu, DJ Williams, etc. I think Patrick Willis (completely different role) is an up and comer. Not to mention guys like Mike Peterson, and Jonathon Vilma (in the right scheme).
The same Johnathan Vilma who's knee is all effed up and got traded for a 4th round pick?

"Effed up"? A bone came loose in his knee and that's it. He was playing with a knee problem since high school.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

The same Jonathan Vilma was was as good as anyone, until the Jets changed their scheme and he was cast in a role that didn't suit his skillset. Which is what I said. Can't fit a square peg in a round hole.

Randy Moss was traded to the Pats for a 4th round pick, is he not a good player either?

What's crazy is that even in a scheme that he doesn't like and isn't suited for he still had over 100 tackles until he got injured.

Deangelo Hall - Made his rep off of one game agaisnt T.O. and Owens still got him good in that game

Matt Hasselbeck - I just don't see it. Maybe it's just me, but I don't by it.
Must not have never watched a Packer game before.
