I agree 100% with Tony... listened to his radio show LONG before PTI. Not a huge fan of him on MNF but I think if you know him from his radio days you'd appreciate his personality more than just what it is on PTI (not you as in YOU but in general).

Completely disagree with Cowherd. He's horrible. Nine times out of 10 he is dead wrong, and the tenth time he has no logical or legit reason for his "right" opinion. I know people say it about a lot of people, including Tony, but this guy seriously does not belong doing SPORTS radio. I'm guessing the last time he played anything competitively was in middle school.

I feel the same way about Cowherd. What did it for me was when after Hurricane Katrina happened, he was calling for the Saints to move to Los Angeles even before the water receded. Classless.

Cowherd is hilarious to listen to because he is just like that guy at the bar who likes to boast about sports stuff but really doesn't have anything to back it up. He just goes out and says things as loudly as possible and as many times as possible so that people think he is right.

I listened to a clip the other day of Van Pelt saying something like "Fantasy football guys are nerd losers!" and it seems Van Pelt is taking a page out of Cowherd's book.

BTW everytime i've heard and listen to Cowherd I just shake my head. The guy is a complete blowhard. Although...if ESPN really wanted someone to up the controversy quotient and get people riled up for or against someone they should put him in the booth on MNF.

(though I advise against it. Someone might try that stunt in Buffalo from the late '70s)

Honestly, I don't think he can get people riled up. He is so obvioulsy clueless that I really don't think he could get under anybody's skin.
