And he just beat an NFC South team in the playoffs.

And? How does this change what they did in the regular season? It's not like the Falcons were an unmovable defensive force anyway.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

The point is that he led a team to the playoffs that hadn't been there in 10 years.

He was the front runner for league MVP until about week 12. There was definitely merit in him being voted MVP.

Along with 4,600 yards, 30 TDs, and a 67% completion percentage...

Is this really that big of a deal?

The "big deal" is just that he got a vote when Drew Brees didn't despite playing in a much tougher division and having a better statistical year while his team lost only one more game. It's really not that big of a deal to me I just don't get how Drew didn't get one vote.

He wasn't deserving of the MVP. Apparently the voters were smart enough to realize that and didn't grant him a single vote. I'd say that's better than the homer votes you see every year where a few guys get a vote from a local writer.
