They might be, but the Raiders will be better with him. They only need 15 to 20 snaps a game from him, and if he's even half the player he was in Jacksonville, he's better than anything they currently have at DT.

I like the 3-4 over the 4-3, and not because it's a "copy cat" league.

The 3-4 puts better athletes on the field to cover modern offenses...you can still blitz for pressure or drop the extra LB into coverage. You really can't do that with your typical 4-3 DT.

It's why I'm obsessed with learning more and more about the 3-3-5...seems a direction that's aimed to slow down the pass and force teams back to the run.

To be fair Big AL hadn't been to none of the offseason OTA/Minicamps. I wonder what is the issue of him missing these last two? The real showdown will be when training camps start in late July.. If he shows up then, then what?
