He wasn't the right fit for the Cardinals offense. He never stood a chance. Shorts and mediums, that's his game. He needs strong running support, too. With that he can be effective, otherwise it's not going to work anywhere he goes. I can't see it working in Houston either, because Houston loves to test downfield and Leinart is inaccurate at longer ranges.

I thought the Bills would've been a decent fit because they do like to run, and they do tend to stay within the intermediate passing ranges where Leinart was automatic in the Preseason (although at the same time, many would consider that a big problem for the Bills). It's hard to argue against Leinart being a better choice than what they have now.

Yeah, I thought Buffalo would go after him too. But they were busy drafting RB's when they have no semblance of an offensive line, anyways.

they didnt need a RB either i think they are fine with the backs they have i just feel they need to go into free agency and spend boat loads of money on guys that at least know what they are doing but whatever

I meant that sarcastically. Drafting Spiller with SO many needs at more important positions was completely idiotic. The hell you gonna do with a RB when you have no offensive line, QB, defensive line, etc.. Not to mention, they weren't exactly bad at RB. I thought Lynch was going to be Adrian Peterson his rookie year, until all of those off the field issues came up. He still could be if he puts his act together.

His post game rant after losing to Texas in their bowl game spoke volumes about this guy imo. When he uttered "the better team didn't win!" comment after losing I knew this guy had self-entitled loser written all over him. It ain't over til it's over but I think he has got maybe 4-5 years left in the L before he disappears.
