Am I the only Eagles fan that would welcome him? I hate his type of player usually, but I think if he came to the Eagles he would thrive

That's what I believe as well.

I think he'll get back to the player he was in the right situation. No team is going to take a chance on him though if he doesn't want to be there because, as we've seen that would just be another loss for another franchise. I believe Haynesworth will actually have to agree to play for a certain team(if a team like the Eagles or whoever is even interested in picking him up) before a team will take a chance on him. He's already got the money, so what else is there for him? Might as well play like the superstar DT he once was.

Well then they're stuck with him on the depth chart because, If that's where he wants to play and refuses to play for any other team then I don't see to many offers coming in for him.

They'll end up with money lost(which has already happened) and nothing in return for him unless a another team is stupid enough to take him even if he doesn't agree to play for them. He'll hit free agency and possibly go to the Eagles anyway.

And that would be fine with Shanahan.

He would rather keep him buried on the depth chart, active or inactive, then to give Fat Boy exactly what he wants.

Makes completely no sense to us but that's exactly how he's rolled this year.

I wouldn't want Haynesworth on my team unless he was pretty much stolen for let's say a 6th or 7th rd pick
