Bumping this because I'm was wondering if anybody else has been watching the Football Life series they're showing on NFL Network?

I know the last one was on Bill Belichick(which was very good BTW)and the one that airs tonight will feature Reggie White and Jerome Brown.

Yeah it was awesome. Nfl films also creates a show on versus called turning point, not sure if it's any good though, haven't caught an episode yet

Re: NFL Films Appreciation Thread.

I saw part 1 on Belichick and I've got part waiting on my DVR, but it is another gem from NFL Films. Belichick comes off completely opposite of how you'd think. I'd always heard how he was a different dude behind the scenes, but it's pretty priceless to see some of the exchanges; like the one with Moss in his office, or him dressing up as a pirate for Halloween (didn't see that one coming). I see why Moss was all broken up after being released. Dare I say, Belichick comes off as a guy almost impossible not to like.

I'm looking forward to the Jerome Brown/Reggie White one coming up next.

Re: NFL Films Appreciation Thread.

Watching the Belichick special kinda confirms why I don't like him. It shows him in a more open manner, which is interesting, but he still mostly comes off as a smarmy prick.

Have the Jerome/Reggie one recorded, gotta watch it.

The NFL Turning Point show on VS kinda sucks. They spend like 30 minutes on one game, then try to pack in two other ones. Wish they'd spend more time on other games.

Ah, that's disappointing, oh well. I haven't bothered to tune in because it's on Versus, and between Inside the NFL and NFL32 I've got my NFL fix pretty much daily sitting on my DVR when I get home when I feel I need one.

Re: NFL Films Appreciation Thread.

After watching the Belichick one, I definitely see why players want to play for him and definitely see why Moss was upset. Honestly, he has the same personality as a Rex Ryan except he's not as open(to the media)about it like Rex is.

The Jerome Brown/Reggie White one: Man when they showed Reggie telling the crowd at the Vet that Jerome Brown had just died, not gonna lie...my eyes did start to flicker just a tad.

But stuff like this is why I made this thread. Just about everything NFL Films makes is nothing less than phenominal and can't wait til the next Football Life.

As for Turning Point, mestevo you're not really missing anything from it. It's basically like Game of the Week stuff they used to show on NFL Network in the past except with bonus games tossed in but other than that, it's nothing special.
