What if the Steelers ignored the rumored "coke problem" and drafted Marino? They still most likely draft Ben 21 years later so would they have even more Lombardi's?

- What if the Steelers had drafted Dan Marino? I just recently learned something from a board with much older members who've been in the media and such. Apparently a young John Clayton had suggested it to the Rooneys and Chuck Noll on draft day but they poo pooed the idea.

- What if the Chargers had traded for John Elway. I have a copy of the '83 draft and there was LOTS of conversation that the Chargers because of a hard negotiation with Dan Fouts on his next contract would draft Elway to back up Fouts who would end up signing a shorter term deal. Can you imagine Elway in the Coryell offense?! (Fouts would start breaking down in '83 and beyond so Elway would eventually start some games)

- What if Scott Norwood made that kick? (I'll answer this one: I think the Bills would've won another SB or two but not go to 4 straight)

- What if the Vikings had made the SB in '98? Would've been a much better SB IMO.

What if Trent Green doesn't get hurt in '99? Would we be blessed by Kurt Warner's playing ability ever..?

What if Kevin Dyson breaks Mike Jones tackle in Super Bowl XXXIV? Do the Titans go for 2 and the win? Do we see the first Super Bowl to go to OT ever?

What if the Bears had decided to draft Troy Polamalu in the draft and sign Jake Plummer as a free agent QB. Would they have beaten the Colts in the Super Bowl?

What if the Packers drafted Barry Sanders at #2 instead of Tony Mandarich (The Big Bust)? Would GB be decent enough with the Majik man and Barry in the backfield, keeping the later Favre trade from happening?

If not, what if Favre had Sanders instead of Edgar Bennett/Dorsey Levens/Ryan Grant/Ahman Green? Only 1 Super Bowl still?

Probably my favorite what-if: Prior to the 1970 NFL Draft there was a coin flip to decide who would have the first pick. It was between the Chicago Bears and my Steelers. Terry Bradshaw was considered at the time - and probably still is - one of the greatest QB prospects to ever enter the NFL Draft. Chicago called heads, it landed on tails, a dynasty was born.
