Bumping this because I forgot about this one...

What if the Titans never tried to get Blount to the practice squad and kept him on the active roster? I know they really like Ringer (and Harper now) but we've seen first hand how much of a beast Blount can be. Would they be looking to trade Johnson right now instead of dealing with the contract demands? What would that 1 - 2 punch of CJ and Blount looked like?

What if the Bears had Cutler under center for that 06' bears team? Do they get as far as Rex took them or does he falter?

What if Cutler doesn't get injured in the NFCCG? (what I'm saying here is if he had at least a below average o-line)

Re: How would the history of Pro Football have changed if...

What if the Dolphins take care of the QB position in the 08 Draft by taking Matty Ice instead of Long? Would the Falcons then take McFadden? If that situation plays out, would their fortunes be switched, as in Miami becomes a pretty good team that occasionally wins the division and Atlanta falls into the cellar? I've realized that a majority of what-ifs in the NFL revolve around the Draft, but so be it. It's fun to speculate. Now back to building the time machine!

What if Barry Sanders plays in the league a few more years? Would the lions have stayed at the bottom of the Nfl totem pole for the next 10 years?

the falcons take LdT to replace an aging Anderson and Quincy carter in the 2nd round looking for a vickstyle QB. The cowboys dont trade down and take Brees. Campo doesnt get fired because bress plays well. Romo still goes undrafted but Parcells isnt coaching so only the broncos give him a chance he doesnt impress them and ends up in the afl. So sean payton and brees never end up with the saints and they are still the aints.

That's a pretty interesting alternative history there though I think Campo still gets fired for general incompetence even with a talent like Brees.

Eh....too many holes. The biggest being; Breed didn't come out guns blazing. Brees was very much so, mediocre at best until Rivers was drafted.
