Re: Rank NFL offenses 1-32
1. Eagles- A very dynamic team, with a running attack and solid passing game with Mike Vick. The offense will also likely get many shots a game with a solid defense.
2. Saints- It's no coincidence that this team has been a top offense for years. However, the loss of Bush and no evident running game might hurt them. This team also is getting older at the QB position and Bree's had an off year last year. However, they are still very good.
3. Packers- The additions of all their injured players and an All-Pro QB help a lot. The team will regain their running attack and passing attack with all their injured players.
4. Chargers- This team can put up all the offensive numbers, however it didn't translate into wins. This team lacked the ability to finish on offense, which is a sign that this could be a huge year for the Chargers.
5. Patriots- Tom Brady always gets the job done. They have a unique offensive style and can pass with anyone. Their passing attack uses everyone and their running game is effective with anyone in the backfield.
6. Falcons- This team has one of the best offensive lines in football and a great cast. With an All-Pro QB and a great running attack, this team will be among the top offenses in the league.
7. Colts- Colts may be slipping. Manning probably won't play a preseason game because of his neck and it could hurt him. They are already talking about bringing in a veteran QB to fill the void. They could be higher or lower.
8. Texans- Andre Johnson and Foster carry the offense with a good QB. They are still learning and this could be a year when the Texans finally make the jump.
9. Jets- The Jets may have made one of the biggest additions of the year with Plax Burris. Burris showed that he hasn't lost a step the other night and the Jets offense will be efficient. They may not put up yards but they will score the points and win ball games.
10. Vikings- Adrian Peterson is going to have a ball. With the new offense, and the addition of McNabb, the Vikings will be a surprise offense. This team has looked sharp in their preseason games and they haven't sparked yet. McNabb will do what he does best and not turn the ball over, and the Vikings will have a great year.
11. Steelers- A pound the football attitude and great leadership is what makes this offense click. Great slot recievers and a good running game.
12. Giants- Manning has some options, but he is very off and on. The Giants have a decent running game, but sometimes can't handle the pressure, if they get off to a hot start, they should be fine.
13. Jaguars- A veteran QB showing the young Gabbert how to play might ignite Garrard. They have a lot of young options and an ok running game, it will be interesting how they do. They could slip very far however.
14. Ravens- Will Flacco finally have a huge year for the Ravens? This is the main question. They have a great Rutgers product and a solid line, they need to prove they can win against the top defenses with their offense because their defense is getting old.
15. Chiefs- The Chiefs are interesting. A very college type offense with fast players. They are dangerous and have added some options. Baldwin has shown some personal issues but has proved to be a great threat with excellent hands.
16. Buccaneers- A future star QB in the making. He just needs some help. He has a future stud running back who has shown unreal skills. I am very interested in how they do following their excellent campaign last season.
17. Titans- Hasselbeck and Johnson are the key ingredients. Hasselbeck has shown good promise as a step in to show the young rookie the ropes and he led Seattle to a playoff performance. They will be deadly, but they need some passing to counter act the running attack.
18. Cardinals- Fitzgerald and Kolb are in heaven. Fitzgerald finally has a QB that can get the ball to him and Kolb finally has a shot to prove himself. They should be a good offense, but not nearly where their capable of being.
19. Rams- The Rams have a franchise QB and a good set of receivers. They have one of the best running backs in the league and a good offensive line.
20. Bears- The Bears have a good offense, but Cutler has issues with turning the ball over and their running attack is solid. They have a rich tradition of running the ball down teams back, and should be a decent offense this season.
21. Bills- Fitzpatrick did well last season. They have some decent runners but traded their top receiver. I think they are ok, but they need some more pieces.
22. Cowboys- A huge disapointment in 2010 and this year doesn't look much better. They are my huge slide for this year. Romo looked ok the night but signs of the same team. They turn the ball over a lot and can't run the football. Their line is getting old and have a new coaching staff. They could surprise but are a hit or miss.
23. 49ers- They have some talented receivers, but a QB staff that hasn't proven anything. They have a good running back but only a couple threats through the air. Probably a down year for the niners.
24. Broncos- No QB decisions have Denver in a huge mess. They have 3 QB's that could start but none of them are very good. They had a bad year last year and have no signs of turning it around on offense.
25. Raiders- The Raiders have some talented players, but they are too inexperienced and struggle with running the ball. However, their running back might finally mold and have a year. They could be a potent offense, it all depends on their QB.
26. Dolphins- The Dolphins picked up Bush who will help. However, a lack of offense from the QB position and a different style of offense is a hit or miss. They could be good, but they could be awful.
27. Lions- This team has a great receivers, but doesn't have much else. They have an ok running back and an ok offensive line. They have an average QB who hasn't proven himself yet and can't stay healthy. They will be average at best.
28. Browns- McCoy showed promise. They will improve, but not by much. They will need to make huge strides to be better.
29. Redskins- They are coming off a dismal year. Grossman has played well and was once a good QB. However, they need to prove they can play without turning the ball over.
30. Seahawks- The Seahawks replaced Hasselbeck horribly. Jackson may prove to be the worst move they've ever made. Not only will he struggle, but Sidney Rice won't get over 700 yards because nobody can get him the ball. Their offense works, just not with their QB's. We saw this in Minnesota with Bevell and Jackson, and then with Favre. Huge difference.
31. Panthers- The Panthers will be bad, but they are rebuilding.
32. Bengals- Awful, no QB and are starting a 2nd round pick who is raw, look for a lot of sacks and disappointing games in Cinci.
