Romo had four non-scoring three and out drives that netted a total of 7 yards that started on or past the Cowboys own 20 yard line. What bad field position are you talking about? He benefitted from a really questionable call from Jim Harbaugh and a prevent defense at the end of the game that gave him underneath passes all the way down the field for the game tying FG (10 plays, 44 yards).

Brady had one non-scoring or end of half three and outs. He also had drives of 99 and 92 yards.

I'm still failing to see your argument.

1. One of those drives was halted because of a holding penalty and then the Cowboys just decided to run the ball rather than trying to pick up the first down.

2. If his kicker hadn't missed a field goal that was basically an extra point, the "hole" that Romo dug would have been 4 points instead of what I believe ended up being a 10 point comeback.

Again, I'm not saying Romo outplayed Brady, but to say he dug his team into a hole and then pulled them out is a stretch. And the guy was flat-out excellent after he came back from the punctured lung.

Never did I place all the onus on Romo. I said he was a participant....which he was.

His injury has zero bearing on measurement of his performance.
