I think Holmes is a HOFer, just maybe not right away. His 86 rushing touchdowns rank 14th all time and his almost 11k total yards is pretty solid.

I think Terrell Davis SHOULD be in, because not only were there numbers for that short time, he had a DIRECT effect on the Broncos' championships.

As classy and great of a guy he was, I can't put him in the same category of Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Earl Campbell, etc. He is someone anybody would want on there team because of the leader he was. Definitely one of the better people to come through the NFL.

I don't think emerging from a backup role and shining (even as bright as he did) for a few years merits being in the HOF.

Great person, would love to see it happen, but certainly wouldn't be arguing against any detractors.
