One of those guys I could go either way on. I'll say yes though on the basis of him being the best rb in the world for a few years.

As much as he dominated for that few-year stretch in Kansas City....I....just....nah. I can't.

Re: Priest Holmes HOFer?

While he was a beast for a couple of years, I'd say no. Not good enough, long enough.

Re: Priest Holmes HOFer?

Not a chance.

He had a few phenomenal years, but his body of work as a whole just isn't great enough.

A better example of a guy who had a few superlative years but the career totals don't hold up is Shaun Alexander.

Great three year stretch 2001-2003 led the league and yards from scrimmage twice and don't forget about his 27 touchdowns in 2003. Injuries and Larry Johnson slowed his production, but If I had a vote I would vote for him.

No. If Terrell Davis isn't in then he doesn't deserve it either. They had about the same career span. But then again I'm a tough evaluater. I am the first person to tell you that Kurt Warner is not a HOFer.

Re: Priest Holmes HOFer?

I agree with Matrix, he had some phenomenal years but didn't sustain it for long enough.
