Jake Delhomme was the starting QB the last time the Panthers were above .500.

Because it's NFL football and it was the only (NFL) game on.
I love the NFL as much as anybody, but come on… Life is short. That's three hours you'll never get back.

Gambling and fantasy sports. Why else do you think they spread out football as much as they do? Those two factors are the largest drivers of the NFL IMO

Certainly huge factors in the popularity of the game.

IMO the Panthers are being over hyped right now. Yes they are 3-0 the last 3 games and Newton is doing well but look who they have played. All 3 teams were horrible. Now if they continue it against a quality opponent then all the props in the world to them but as of right now they are being hyped to much.

I just saw a commercial for high protein, blue wilderness. Is that stuff any good for pets? Would you recommend it?

All that other stuff you wrote, yes.

I'm gonna say that's the consensus and probably just stating the obvious.

To be fair I don't know many people who are "hyping" them.

If they do it is usually followed by a caveat similar to yours.

As a Panther fan, I agree with you though. They played well against Seattle, but DeAngelo coughed it up late in the 4th in the Redzone. But, bottom line is that it was a loss. No Jerry Jones style moral victories for this organization anymore.

The panthers are being hyped? That's news to me. Awesome.
