The '85 Bears gave up 10 points in 3 playoff games. The 2000 Ravens gave up 1 offensive touchdown in 4 playoff games, while playing the #2 and #3 scoring offenses in the league in the playoffs. The 2002 Bucs had as many defensive touchdowns in the playoffs as they gave up offensive touchdowns, despite playing the #2 and #4 scoring offenses.

Seattle needs to completely dismantle all of the opposing offenses they face in the playoffs before those comparisons can be made IMO.
Agree with this so much. This defense can't be considered amongst the greats unless it plays great in the playoffs. It certainly didn't do so last year against Atlanta.

I'm going to set the over/under for interceptions for Brees at 2(real life is 1/2 ha!) and I'm going to say over. LOB comes up huge today. Seahawks 24 Saints 7. We could have a rematch of the 2005 conference championship and play the Panthers!

I was at that game... such a great memory. Of course let's all hope we can take that next step this year.

I like your prediction and am hoping it comes true.

Do you guys figure NO still stack the box again today? The weather here doesn't appear to be conducive to passing.

Yup, all pressure is on Seattle. Will be interesting to see how they handle it.

The rain is flying sideways right now.

That Rain and Wind swirling in is looking ugly out there, could be one of those 10-6 type games. Turnovers, fumble recoveries in particular are going to be huge; there will almost assuredly be botched snaps, bad hand off exchanges and wet footballs slipping out.. need to be alert on Defense in these types of conditions.
