Yep, time to get paid. Love when athletes bet on themselves and get rewarded (sometimes it goes sour, of course).

If I heard correctly this morning, Alex Smith will surpass $300M in career earnings if he plays out his contract with Washington. Not a bad haul for him either.

Re: 2018 Offseason Thread

Anyone remember Alex Smith to Davis to beat the Saints with 14 seconds left?? yes he can win in playoff games should have been in the Super Bowl if Williams knew how to catch a punt against the Giants too.

Chiefs have gotta learn Andy Reid can't count and can't read time, when will they learn? they also have no weapons. yet Alex Smith with a QB rating of 104 with 27 Tds and 5 Ints is not good enough.

I hope the Redskins make the playoffs and the Chiefs go 4-12 so they learn a lesson on stupidity with their logic

Kirk Cousins played this whole thing like a boss. Now it’s time get PAID. On top of those two tagged years at what, average of top 5 QB salaries?

I personally think Cousins can lead a team to a title. I think he needs a defense to keep up with what he can do. I don’t think Kirk needs a star back or WR to help him out, so AZ and Denver with pieces on defense (and defensive head coaches) and skill across the board offensively are absolutely ideal for him. Both actually do have serious talent at WR and David Johnson coming back might be what would tip me to the Cards.

Make ‘em bid against each other Kirk. Get that paper!
What's wrong with new York?

Starts with New ends with York.

I wouldn’t go there if I was Cousins when there’s infinitely more appealing options on the table. Even if that meant passing up a little dough. He hasn’t won ****, but he’s made like 45 mil the last two years. Time to up the wins... and probably still get paid just as handsomely as he had been the last two years.

That Saints/49ers game was great. So was Giants/49ers, sucks that Williams screwed that up because we might’ve had a little 49ers dynasty going, though they lost their one and who knows against the Pats.

But I gotta say, Tyreek Hill, Kareem Hunt, and Travis Kelce aren’t weapons? They’re some of the best at their positions.

Well Hill couldn't catch a cold in that titans game, but of cause it's all Smiths fault right?? Kelce is a weapon but got injured once he was gone they had nothing

and Hunt is a running back I was more talking WRS, which the chiefs have lacked for years, the Bowe Flop was a disaster

Re: 2018 Offseason Thread

Cousins has said in the past that he would put big money on back burning to help win a Super Bowl. Now I don’t know if he was referencing a hometown discount or if he ever hit the free agent market.
