Gophs start their season with an exhibition against British Columbia on Sunday. I am pumped to finally get back to Mariucci. It's been a long off season but hockey is back!!

LOL, I like that there's someone on here that knows what Grandma's is. I haven't heard if he'll be suspended for that. Not smart to go to a bar and try to use a fake ID two weeks before your 21st. I heard he pulled a nice spin move on the cop, though.

I'm going to the exhibition against Lakehead tomorrow and getting my Saturday season tickets.

They were letting students in tonight even if we had the other ticket package (that didn't include tonight's exhibition game). Glad to finally get back in Mariucci for some hockey!!

We played a pretty solid game, obviously would have liked to see the score as lopsided as the shots were (3-0, 44-10, respectively). But our defense played solid, only gave up one good scoring chance.

Rau looked good tonight. He was fast out there, and not afraid to get physical. Bjugstad is a man child out there, expecting big things from him this year!

Western kicked *** last night in their first home game. 7-1 over Alabama-Huntsville. Even with the coaching change, they're picking right up where they left off last year.

UMD raised the banner on Friday and won against Notre Dame, then lost a close game on Saturday. That's a good result against a great team.

Bring on UMTC!

UMTC? You mean "The UM"

This weekend will be a great test for us. Our young guys looked great at home against Sacred Heart, I'm excited to see how the freshman respond to playing a good team in a hostile environment.

I say tUMD wins Friday night and the Gophers win on Saturday night. Split on the road is never a bad result against the top tier teams.

ImTellinTim, if you are going to the games, keep your eye on Rau. He is fun to watch
