WMU takes the first of 2 in Ann Arbor, ending UofM's 20 game winning streak at home. They're still one of D-1's 2 unbeaten teams.

I can't help but feel this could be a really special season for this team. They play such great defense and take advantage of opportunities. Even when they allowed the Wolverines to come back to tie it, they didn't let it get them down and were able to score with 1 minute left. Pretty damn impressive.

UMD picked up a point in Denver after being down most of the game. I'll take that.

EDIT: 4-0 thrashing last night. 3 points on the weekend is a success in Denver. This UMD team is better than I thought it was going to be at this point in the season.

All skills aside, the Sioux look pretty suckish this year. They're really missing some big time scorers, like Frattin and Genoway of last year.
Maybe it's just the typical slow start that the Sioux have had the past few years...but I don't have a good feeling about this season.

On the other side, the Gophs look pretty hot so far(as much as it pains me to say that). Rau is a beast.

Last weekend was awesome!!! Great to see the boys pumped up after such a big sweep. When Rau scored, that was the loudest I have ever heard Mariucci.

Like bukk said, Rocco's got some skills, as annoying as he may be on twitter (lol) he will be a very good player at UND.

Get the job done against Becky this weekend!

I was watching that game. I was pretty happy when you guys took down the other U of M :P

Guys, Alaska-Anchorage is really bad. UMD was up 4-0 after 13 minutes and coasted to a 5-0 win. Kenny Reiter also broke Alex Stalock's consecutive shutout minutes record during the 3rd period. It was his second consecutive shutout.
