Nice article , I can't wait for Friday to get here. I may work a half day so I can spend some quality time with this. Heck I'm still playing the first SX game.

Let’s start calling these previews and then do a review after a few months, yes?

Re: Monster Energy Supercross 2 Review (PS4)

Ok I've had some time with it now.

I agree 100% with his comments about the mid week stuff added to the career mode.

Wish you could turn off that stuff as it's very redundant after the first time you go through it and feels tacked on.

On track things look way better and the riding has a different feel to it so I agree with that portion of the review as well.

I dont like the "flow" graphic it's super distracting to me....Thankfully you can turn that off and I did after one race.

Seems like they need to balance the qualifying vs race lap-times...I qualified like 11th and ran away from the field in the heat race.

Wish you could start out with some more gear options as I hate having to grind out 20 races to buy some decent branded gear.

I like the game very much.

I love the new feel and level of challenge with the advanced physics and it looks fantastic.

This is the golden age of moto video games.

Re: Monster Energy Supercross 2 Review (PS4)

So far I have run a time trial 3 to 5 laps on every track. I have also run 3 single event races. At this point I am not enjoying the game at all. The bikes just feel out of control to me. Hopefully with more time it will get better.

Ok I just started a career. Doing much better on the 250 bikes. Also as I learn the tracks I am getting better as well.
