GK don't grow as much until they're older. GK's don't peak until their mid 20's to early 30's IRL and it reflects that in the game.

Yes, this method works for me on every/any player in the game. Players from youth academies, generated free agents, base players and also the youth players you get added to your team by the game...

Just play them in the preseason games, every year at the beginning of the season I take the 5-6 players I'm selling/loaning out and play them in the pre season games, by the 3rd game I've usually...

Don't know about Gosling or Paonessa but I bought Ricardo Rodriguez last year in my FIFA 12 Leeds United CM and he was great for me.
