Re: Next Gen Tennis Title?

I saw a review for a Tour de France game yesterday for PS4/XBOX One, and it made me even more sad we haven't heard anything about a new tennis game. These consoles are nearing their 2-year anniversary, and it's way past time to get a new tennis game onto the market. There is great potential to make a great game. There are a lot of up-and-comers in the world of tennis too (Raonic, Dimitrov, Kyrgios, etc.) to hype things even more. I'm hopeful we'll get an announcement at some point in the near future.

Any updates on this?

I'm actually really sad that they haven't even done a facelift on Top Spin and put it on PSN for cheap.

Big Ant Studios is making a tennis game. Should have decent graphics judging by their other games. No idea when it's supposed to come out though.

Re: Next Gen Tennis Title?

Last few generations are probably spoiled by the social media and because of that they fail to create a solid mentality. Its all about the looks, the followers, the cars and they just dont push themselfs enough. Just look at Raonics letter to himself ?! Its supposed to be TO HIMSELF, personal, and yet the media has it and now Milos in a passive way show the public what a fighter he is ...
That being said, Big 4 is like a God in the world of golden goose's. ATP does everything in its power to prolong their careers. In 2008 with Nadal, Djokovic and Murray around the corner - we enter the baseline era - kiling first time strikers like Del Potro, Soderling and Tsonga. 2015-2017- with the big 4 getting older - courts get faster and players like Nishikori, Dimitrov, Coric, Goffin whom are raised to be baseliners, suddenly have to change their games in order to be competitive. Someone like Federer could play till 40's and still be top 20 because of his serve ...

Definitely pumped that next-gen tennis is getting some love.

On another note, who else would love another one of these:
