Love the idea of competition, but at the end of the day they're both going to have to work under the WWE rules and framework, with regards to style and content. Still gonna be micro-managed.

Smackdown has been more about "in-ring" for years and years. That's not much of a change by itself.

It seems hypocritical to me to that the guy with final say on the suspensions (Vince) couldn't pass a wellness test if his life depended on it.

If you read the interview it was from 2007 and Vince was still competing. Even if you disregard that, WWE is basically saying Brock could've been smoking crack and nothing would have been done.

What difference does that make? The policy is supposed to promote safety and a healthy lifestyle, pumping yourself full of banned substances isn't unsafe only if you're competing.
