More sad news to report, Larry "The Axe" Henning has passed away at the age of 82. For those unaware, he is the father of Curt "Mr. Perfect" Henning and the grandfather to current WWE Superstar Curtis Axel.

Curtis Axel confirmed the news on Twitter with this statement:

“82 years old. 5 kids. 28 grandkids. No one has had a bigger impact on my wrestling career then my Papa Axe.”

“He’s been my biggest supporter since day one,” Axel continued. “Another father when I lost mine. We lost our King of the Jungle today… Never thought I’d see this day.”

“But he’s with my Dad now so everything will be ok. Love you Papa Axe! The Hennig’s have always held our heads up high! We will continue to do so… You rest assured, The Hennig name will live on FOREVER!!!”

So just fooling around online and stumbled across this page with excerpts posted from Brock Lesnar's book from back in 2011. Don't know if I just never paid attention to it then or just didn't really care to look at/for it back when it was released, but he apparently details what lead him to quitting WWE back in 2004. I had never known Brock's who side of things. Had any of you guys read this or heard about everything he talks about here? It's a long read over the course of the first 3 posts of the thread I believe, but pretty good. Even though I saw someone fact check him on the Miami incident with The Rock that ended up ruining his relationship with Vince as Brock was not the WWE Champion at the time of the event in question.
