Re: FOX to go hard after WWE if they lose rights to UFC

According to Variety, current top contenders for SD Live Broadcasting rights include, FOX, Facebook and Amazon. Also SD Live moving to 3 hours is also being considered as it would be more appealing to advertisers.

If they are thinking about putting SD Live on Facebook or Amazon Prime, they are better off putting it on their own Network. Ultimately I think FOX wins and SD Live stays at 2 hours.

Facebook and Amazon? If I'm WWE, I'd see if either wants to take NXT. SD though should be on TV.

And if FOX gets SD, I think it'd be FS1 and not the main FOX network?

If SD goes to 3 hours and Raw stays 3 hours, I don't think I'll even want to try and watch the shows weekly, it'd just be too much at that point. Even DVR watching and skipping so much, it's just an overkill. I don't care how good the show is, watching 6 hours week after week after week after week after week would be too much.

I like that I don't see everyone every week on Smackdown, moving to three hours would kill that.

Moving to 3 hours would make it like Raw where you have matches that last so long, and everyone there each week, most of those people in a match.

When writing shows, they really should be asking themselves "Where is (each individual superstar) at the end of the show compared to where they were going into the show?". If the answer isn't any different, then that means the superstar should be given more progression to their character and/or story.

Here is their format for the first month of three hour smackdown
Week 1-AJ and Daniel Bryan vs Nakamura and Big Cass
Week 2-AJ vs Big Cass...AJ wins via rollup when DB comes out as a distraction
Week 3 DB vs Nakamura...with Cass on commentary where he inevitably attacks Bryan causing a DQ
Week 4...add Randy Orton and Rusev to the mix...we're having a six man tag playa

More like:
Week 1-Bryan vs Nakamura to kick off SD, Cass gets involved after 15 minutes, AJ makes the save, main event set as Bryan/AJ vs Nakamura/Cass

Week 2-AJ vs Big Cass, Bryan vs Nakamura

PPV Week-AJ vs Nakamura, Bryan vs Big Cass

SD after PPV- Bryan vs Big Cass, Nakamura vs Hardy (Benjamin comes in and costs Hardy the match, then AJ makes save and we get AJ vs Benjamin)

Week 4-AJ/Bryan/Hardy vs Nakamura/Cass/Benjamin

Week 5-AJ/Bryan vs Nakamura/Cass

WWE is badly overexposed as it is right now. If SDL goes 3 hrs they're just hurting themselves even more. There's a point where it's TOO much even for the diehard fans.

Can you imagine in 1 week someone might actually watch:
5 hour PPV
2 hour pre-show
3 hour Raw
3 hour SD
1 hour 205 Live
1 hour NXT

I'm WWEs eyes though, they view it as "We're giving you MORE WWE! The more the merrier.".

In a sporing world where they're so concerned about dragging things out and people tuning out because of the time it takes to watch some stuff (aka pace of play), WWE is doing the exact opposite.
