NCAA Football 11 Demo Confirms 2 Minute Quarters

The official NCAA Football 11 website has just confirmed 2 minute quarters for the demo.

	"Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 demos will be released on Monday, June 14th. The demo consists of four match ups with 2 minute quarters. The four match ups are: FSU vs. Florida, Oklahoma vs. Texas, Clemson vs. Mizzou, and Ohio State vs. Miami. By playing each of the 4 match ups, you will unlock those teams Pro Combat uniforms for use in the full retail version of the game. By sharing the demo with a friend, you will unlock 3 more uniforms: VT, LSU, & TCU. You can pick which uniform the teams are wearing before heading into the game, so even if you are playing at home as Ohio State, you can still select their Pro Combat uniforms. Make sure to check out the Video on Demand channel for new videos about NCAA Football 11!"

really was hoping for 3-5..but hey im excited..we got 8 different teams...and my team in one of them so lets get it!!! monday come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. They had a few videos for the game on the demo last year.

I'd rather have 2 four-minute quarters than have 4 two-minute quarters. It would be the same amount of gameplay time but with less stoppages. It's just awfully difficult to get into any kind of flow with two minute quarters.

Oh, well. Can't really complain.

I'm going to play this demo as if it was the retail for a whole month lol. This demo will easily be my ps3 favorite game until July 13!

in past years its been 4 qtrs...so its not really false info but more of a trend.

Yeah, 5 would've been nice. They've already put alot in this demo so I can't really fault them though.

The demo for the last 3+ years has been 2 minute quarters and a full game, and I seriously doubt Ea would change it. Ea would annoy many fans, including myself, by only providing half a game in the demo. Now I will eat crow if I am wrong, but I am right and it will be confirmed on Mon

I'm assuming that the demo will have 4 2min qtrs based on previous years' demos...but u know what they say about assuming. Either way, Monday is only 3 days away. We'll find out soon enough. I'zzz izz excited.

Actually, assuming with EA can get someone killed or worse...lead to season showdown. j/k

Gotta love what EA did with the demo. The two pronged attack promoting offenses and pro-combats was brilliant.

it says you can choose uniforms, any chance we can mix and match like in ncaa and madden last year? i hope on the retail version of the game at least we can, if not in the demo then no big deal, but if they took that out this year i will be pissed. i want ncaa to be as deep as madden was with this last year, if not deeper. i loved being able to choose everything, right down to the colorway on the cleats...
