Haven't really messed around with Lamar a whole lot in the demo, but dang, those between the leg dribbles at the end were spot-on. It's like L.O. mo-capped them himself.

phenom, most Lakers fans tend to have a pretty good view of reality. It's the Kobe fans (aka nuthuggers) who truly believe that he somehow is greater than Jordan when nothing exists to suggest he is. Hell, the league made the game so much easier than Jordan's era with this handchecking crap and yet he isn't even the consensus best (is he even the best? I've had LeBron > Kobe sin 06-07). The only thing Kobe has on Jordan is a 3pt shot and even that is not 100% correct, because Jordan himself said the reason he didn't shoot 3s was because it changed his mentality and he became a "floater" (stayed on perimeter). The one year he took too many (for my tastes), he hit a whooping 42%...
Can we have a thread for once that doesn't devolve into a who is better: Kobe/Jordan/Lebron/Wade/your momma discussion?

I have been playing the demo about 1 hour each day and I can't
pull off moves like he did. I also have not played a 2k basketball
game since 2k6. I was a live guy until this year so i wonder how
long it will take for me to beat 2k vets in 2k11.

I wish I had video capture equipment, because I am making beautiful music with Kobe. I get so enamored with the animations in this game that sometimes I forget to shoot after doing a move because I feel that I'm watching a game rather than playing it. Visual Concepts put their foot into this one!!!!
And I agree with Phil Jackson, Kobe is more talented than Jordan was but Jordan's resume compared to Kobe's is like a Harvard grad with an MBA competing against a high school dropout for a job.

dude you look like a producer smooth as you were pulling off all them moves...i swear that looked just like kobe in real life. I need to hit the gym fast.
At least we only have to wait for a little bit longer right? Two weeks from Tuesday isn't that bad I guess.

I saw a video where the player passed the ball to Kobe for a alley-oop, but Kobe was pretty much under the basket, so he caught the ball in the air, and finished at the other side of the rim. I'm not sure, maybe it was already in 2K10, but it sure looked great!
