Clean & simple. I really like it.

Coaching? Is that like a teaching mode or can we edit coaches?

looks good straight to the point nothing overly dramatic. Fancy screens are not needed, the proof is in the pudding as they say.

Gonna be honest, it looks eerily similar to one of the fonts used in NBA2K11. I could be wrong, but it reminds me of it at least.

I like this menu, and I'm intrigued as to what the "Coaching" option might entail. My guess is that it will be where GameFlow and Create-A-Playbook are filed.

Great news!! I've been criticizing EA's menus (Madden, FIFA and NHL) for quite some time now, because they are difficult to navigate and often look clumsy and poorly done.

This year both Madden and FIFA will get new cleaner menus that are easier to navigate. Now I just need to wait for NHL news and hope that Microsoft will do the same with the Xbox Live layout

Very slick!

Best part is the Bears/Packers score

can someone post up the pic as an attachment? For some reason the twitter pics never show up on this computer.

Thanks!

This is probably where you edit gameplanning, gameflow, custom playbooks... just a guess.

Why does he have the Metrodome behind him?

And where's it's trademark hole in the roof?

VERY awesome menu. I hope NHL gets the same treatment.

Hasn't the Coaching thing in the main menu always been in past Madden games?

Pretty sure that's just where Custom Playbooks, Gameplanning, Audibles and all that good stuff will be under.

Liking the menu screen BTW. I didn't really like Madden 11's.

That's what i'm thinking, i don't think coaching is anything new, its in like every sports game. If it was a game mode it would be under games modes

Yeah, coaching probably takes care of gameplay and maybe even depth charts, while the nfl roster maybe free agents and trades and create a player and stuff. The main Menu looks good too me.
